How do I get air from the window without being to loud / noticeable ???????

I want to get some fresh air for the ladies but I dont need anyone knowing whats going on .... Heres a example so maybe someone can shoot me in the right direction. I will need atleast a 400+ CFM fan to suck in some air for my 15x10 room with 6 -400watt hps

thats a tough one i dont have an idea for that. but i did think.......if u open the window facing ur neibors house wont that let the smell out

I would say sit the fan just inside the window. This should give you plenty of draw, and from outside it will only appear that you are too cheap to use air conditioning LOL.

Very good idea LOL but I do have my a/c kickin all day pretty much lol at 67 . Now this tiny ass window is on ground level and he has no windows to see the window. Theres got to be another way cause if i put the fan in front of window light will show and my ladies if someone looks threw window

i use ducting to get from my fan to my window. than i cover the whole window from the inside with panda film. then i cut a small hole for the ducting to fit into. the window frame acts as a fan box and the ducting takes some of the sound and light away from the window. this is a window i use for active intake.

your best and quietest option is to take a red dixie cup, put it outside, cover it with your hand, and bring it to the grow room. repeat these steps several times a day to transport ample amounts of fresh air to your plants

like was stated, build a box around the perimeter of the window inside, run a duct to a inline fan.

cover the fins with foam or something ? That might help ?

i used this for my intake...it woirks great, i even went so far as to instal a vent cover on the outside. you will want to use black, any reflective color will reflect light.

Screw the window and concrete walls. That's just dumb. Go UP. Put a piece of ducting on the roof with a cap over it so rain doesnt fall in, and then an inline attic fan pulling air in and blowing to your plants. That'll be the most quiet and the most stealth way possible for your situation.

Running the duct all the way to the roof aint happening to much work , ill try out the stealth box and take it from there.

Next, put in the largest fan you can and install it inside! Heck, if you have the room inside the cabinet, put in TWO... one pointing at the other and both pointing inside.

Now you can make *ALL* the fan noise you want without the expense of running a expensive air conditioner.

Really good idea but that window is only maybe 15" wide by 7-8" tall so NO A/C is going to fit in that window buddy.....

Well heres another Idea I came up with .. itll look like I got a reg. fan window which there will be , then Ill build the stealth box over it then make a hole for the duct

Fan will sit in front on the window from the inside of house of course

Hell I might even hang some black curtains inside the box , so if someone were to look threw the little window itll look pitch black but the curtains might be visible if its sunny outside. Either way what do you guys think ....

Second it'll make your neighbors wonder why you have A/C running 24/7 365 even in the winter at night time. Duh, its a grow room. Sounds good on paper but not in practice. Use the attic, its safe and its easy. If you can gut an A/C unit you can drill a 6" hole in a ceiling.

There is no attic were this is taking place.

Man forget about fresh air.. you need to move on to a air controlled environment! Co2 get that 1500 ppm!
