Flushed good, so hopefully it won't continue to be a problem.

And just for fun, let's just do a side by side comparison of days 18 and 20...

Starting to fill out nicely. I think I'll give it until next week to top her, and then another week before flower. Any thoughts ?

I took these around 5-6 o' clock today, when the leaves are perked up more.



Leaf tips are pointing down, which I'm pretty sure is a sign of stress... but I don't know what could be stressing the plant. All the variables have been the same, within reason, the whole grow so far. Heat, humidity, and water levels in the res are all where they started at. Maybe it has to do with the nute burn, IDK. Topping will be coming up soon, and I fully intend to clone and give the plant about a week to recover before going into flowering. Does that sound reasonable ?

These are taken in the evening, so the plant is drooping like it usually does at this time of day/light schedule.



I'm going to LST before topping her for a clone. Dont know if it's completly necessary, but Id like to get some more development in the lower branches before I split he in two !!!



Oh, also added another socket onto the line and screwed in an 11w bulb just to test connection in it. I found another socket besides that one that I will be adding and putting another 16w r30 5000k cfl for the next week or so, and then replace both r30's with 2 more 32w 2700k like what is on the far right for flowering. Smell is getting stronger even though I'm still in veg, so I can't wait for the aroma of flowering !!!

So, I chopped her 2 days ago above the 2nd true node. Now I have 4 main stems growing and I might start flowering Monday or Tuesday.

Almost 4 weeks from seed and she's about 8 1/2" wide x 4 1/4" tall after topping at the second true node. Props to UB for the topping tutorial on here.

I may have lucked into a 150w HPS, so my setup may be drastically altered by the time I start to flower. I've got a used ballast, capacitor, and ignitetor... but I haven't tested it out to see if it's all working. I've got a bulb, socket, and reflector as well.... so it's all just a matter of putting together in a safe matter and hoping it works. I DO have the electrical know-how to do all this safely and I'll be stoked if it works.

Well, here's my DWC grow. It's still only about a month in and with CFL's so far... but you'll see my ghetto homemade 5 gallon DWC bucket

It looks like the start of a good grow except for the lights. That outdoor plant looks awesome but indoors is a completely different scenario.

Get rid of those CFL's and get a 400W HPS/MH. Here in Oz you can pick them up for less than $100. You won't harvest shit off little light bulbs. I spent a couple of hundred bucks on 7 x 26w 2600k/6500k spirals and some T5's for side lighting and they made piss all difference. IMO CFL is only good for Veg. Don't waste your time and risk your freedom for a ¼oz of fluffy, weak, crap.

I recently setup a DWC bucket like yours. I painted the lid silver and covered the base area of the plant with panda film to reflect more light and lower temps slightly.

I'd say 3" from the 1st node. But she's about 10" wide all the way around now.

Yeah, she was a bit stretched in the beginning, but she's turning out nicely now. Only a few more days 'til I switch to 12/12 !!!

Im not nearly close to your set up .. I guess i thought it would be more expensive but i have a few questions
i have about for sprouts growing there a small flowers now . Im using 2 75 watt flouresent light from wally world . My tepm in my base maent is around 72 degrees all the time in in co spings .... Im living with friends and dont have to much space so .. I have them in a humidty container now but they will be in a area 2\12 by 2/12 .. Very small .. Ant advise

Just keep reading threads in the CFL section and try googling a bit on ""micro growing". Keep your lights 1-2" from your plants and go 12/12 from seed since you have such a small place. Also, look into LST and SCROG. This site gave me a huge first step into my grow and I hope to show off a great grow by the end.

*Minor Update*

So, I got impatient and "ghetto rigged" that ballast I have and a lamp socket to test it out.... and it worked great !!! Lamp fired up and got bright within a few seconds ! So for flowering I'll be keeping 5 CFL's @ 147W total, scrapping my 4' 2x F32t8 shop light, and adding 1x 150w HPS.

The 8th was my B-day, so I'd say that ballast working was a pretty good present !
