Fox farms ocean forest 70% 25% Light warrior 5% earthworm castings. then I added 3 red solo cups to the garbage bag i mixed it in. May have been a little more on the earthworm castings.

looks like a burn from foliar feeding to me.

any water drops on the leaves act like a magnifying glass with light.

2nd pic looks a bit like light bleaching .

i use a 200w CFL until they are around 4inches tall then switch to my 600w

I've read that you get the best results from foliar feeding if it's done when the lights are on. I've taken to doing it right when the lights go on, and raising the lights way up for a couple of hours (or until the leaves are dry). They really seem to be liking it. If you have room to raise your lights, and can do it easily, I'd give that a try.

No your not supposed to foliar feed when lights are on, it will burn your plants because water acts like a mag glass. always foliar feed with lights off and make sure you spray both sides of the leaves. Also that doesn't look like you lights are burning them, to me it looks like you might have a nute lockout?

Did you read my post, or just glance at it? I raise the lights way up, then bring them back down in a couple of hours after the leaves are totally dry - and there has never been any burning. I started doing it after reading a long article on foliar feeding, which said that the plant will take more in while the lights are on.

you might have a point, i was just told by a friend that owns a hydro shop that its not good to spray with the lights on, but you know what they say opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and most of them stink

just wondering what you foliar feed for? do you have a def of sort? I recently had a lockout due to shit ass water in the beginning of my flower cycle and have been foliar feeding once a day with fox farm grow big to try and remedy the problem. Looks to be improving so gonna keep doing it, but now im gonna try with my lights on....thanx dude

No, no def. that I know of. I just do it to give them a little extra boost... they seem to like it as far as I can tell.
