Am thinking of making a small shoe box tote dwc grow for a pc and was wondering if having 2 10in airstones would be better then one?

what is the best recommended airstone to use for a micro dwc grow?

You don't need the best for that size of rez. I'd think that 1 10 inch stone would be more than enough. The best stones are pretty expensive and for that size they wouldn't be significantly better. The idea is to put enough air in the feed line so that you can use continuous feeding. I think one will do you. Roseman used two 10 inch stones for a 6 gallon rez and had a really good grow with them.

More would make sence to be better for a lot of things ... but is more than one airstones going to be better ?
It's one of them things you just have to try and see , I cant ever remember seeing anyone document a grow that did a side by side with one or more airstones .
I use coco but everytime i water i allways have my airstone in the water while its out overnight , and about 3 hours befor i feed my plants i add a mister / fogger and cover the bucket ... the result is well oxygenated warmish water ...Plants LOVE it
I'm setting up a aeroponic / Mist cloner in a week or so i would like to know if two is better than one ... how about five ?

am using 4 6in line airstones in my trial. The little bucket their in is full of bubbles.It's an interesting question really ...
