ventilation and fan help please!

I'm growing for the first time in a closet 67'' wide, 24'' deep, 98'' inch high. I plan on seperating the closet into a veg and flowering chamber. The flowering chamber being around 60'' high. I am trying to pick out a good inline fan, here's my problem a 4'' inline fan that pushes 170 cfm sells for about 80 bucks on htg. a 8'' duct fan is rated at pushing 500 cfm and costs around 30 dollars. can't i just use the duct fan? and will one exhaust fan in the top of the flowering room be enough for the closet even if the shelf is permits light from the veg room from going to the flowering room?

500 cfm duct booster???If that is what your talking bout then those are shitty...just boosters......the inline will work way better...and I don't fully understand the second part of your question "even if the shelf is permits light from the veg room from going to the flowering room?"

Ditto, those duct boosters suck. They are rated a like 0 static pressure (air resistance, kind of), any sort of restriction like ductwork or an elbow and they won't move any air. Go with a good quality imline fan. I use a S&P TD-150 6" fan and am very pleased.

As for letting light from your veg chamber into your flower chamber, no they need to be light tight from one another. A small light leak from your veg cab will mess up your flowering.

Yea but will the one fan in the top flowering chamber be enough for both chambers? or should i get another fan for the veg chamber?
