Yea if I could do it over again I would have went with a normal strain so I COULD clone. Yesterday was week 5 for my auto shortriders and there still only showing preflower lol.. So much for "quick." I'll still be happy with watever I get out of them though.:eyesmoke:

I guess you didnt understand.... i wrote "nah" meaning no to his question. He is new to growing so i was just explaining why you would choose femd seeds and why they cost more.

I cant believe that a plant put 12/12 from seed to harvest would make as much bud as an auto flower given the same growing period. It just doesnt make sense because then there would be no need for auto flowering plants and they would be more costly electricity-wise(18/6 rather than 12/12). So you are going to have to convince me on that one.

Yeah in the future when i have more than 2 months at a time to grow im never going to get autos because i plan on cloning and id like to try different strains because at the moment autos are somewhat limited.

Haha sorry I just got done meditating after posting that, I was just visualizing a plant growing from seed to harvest done in 12/12. Yeah I know what you mean haha, I was just thinking about autoflowers also because of the ruderalis genetics it yields less, but that makes no sense.. Idk im gonna have to try 12/12 from seed to see how its like.. haha its not like it matters anyways, all the bud is going into a lung in the end.. so smoke up! haha

I think I have seen some people on here yielding 2+ ounces from 12/12 from seed.. but don't take my word for it, im too stoned to look anything up haha

stoners and math... dont go well together

Hmm well if what that guy says is 6 weeks i guess im wrong....

Im still suspicious because those kinda look like autos and maybe that is 6 weeks since sex showing or beginning of flowering so they could have had a few weeks to develop.

Anyway ill never be able to grow 12/12 from seed with that quality because the guy ran around 2000w CFL maybe more because of the empty sockets on the walls.
I saw 8 250w CFLs and thats just out of my league, including the awesome cab with the air system.

If i could id rep that guy because that was a beautiful video.

Nice to find a D Ryder thread. Im on my first grow. Doing bubbleponics under 250 HPS. Im at 6 weeks from sprout right now. Plant is definetly not huge single cola like i thought it would be. Hairs are starting to turn amber. She is 16" tall, and about 12" wide. Stinks to high heaven. Should be bout 2 weeks to go.

Yeah my diesel ryders have stunk up my whole basement.

My diesels are germing so disregard the plant i have flowering in there.
It might not seem like the room is bright but my camera auto adjusts the light.... it gives me a headache to look at the plant for longer then one min.
It is 85f with 2 fans, i believe this is because of the tinfoil(i couldnt find mylar), should i remove the tinfoil?

came to check out your grow setup must say mine is going to look alot like this except maybe smaller and in a closet.

Yeah that was my old setup, i moved my plants to my other house and put them in the basement because its cooler.

This is my new one, the picture of it was posted earlier in the thread.

Damn thats a really cool hanger you have for the reflector.. mines only hanging from fishing line i braided for strength

Haha yeah i had to learn that hangman's knot. The hook things were like $5 and they are adjustable by the 1/2 inch which is prety sweet especially for CFLs, and the rack is a coat rack thats also adjustable by the foot.

Tbh i wish i had a good grow cab with air circulation instead haha.

Week 3.5/Question

Hey Guys!

So i got this week's paycheck and im really thinking about adding a 400w hps.
Sorry CFL guys, i just feel like i need more than 106w per plant and im too lazy to build to be able to arrange my cfls better like the 4 laying on their sides.

I really need some convincing to not get more lights or help finding a HPS that i like.

It says its air cooled but i dont see how it is from the picture.
