How much space ... how many plants ... whats cheap to you ?

im growin 3 plants from germ till about 2 weeks old
it's like a little card board box. kinda ghetto haha. but I lined it with tin foil, and I was just thinkin I'd pop a little light in there.
Does that sound ok, or do I need more??
also, I have no idea what kind of lights work. does halogen work? if not please tell me.

Take down the tine foil if you plan on using hot lights. You should just fo with CFLS for the time being. They are like 3 bucks for 4 of em. You want 6700 daylight CFLs. They make 23w that fit reg sockets. You want about 100w for first plant and 50w add'l for each plant. (incase you really dont know anything about lights they are sprially cool looking things that say daytime 6700 23w) I veged with 9 of em and had 2 2 ft plants in 3 weeks.

lol, 1ft x 1ft, you have about enough room for 2 23W 6500K CFL's. Ideally you want more lumens for 3 plants, but you're working with ZERO space.
