ok so bear with me this is the first time I've posted on here but have learned so much on this forum. I have a 12X16 area I want to make into a flowering room and cant decide on how i want to lay it out. I want to keep a 2' area around the plants so I can walk around them, so it will actually be a 8x12 area. I am torn between running 2 12pot Ebb and flow bucket setups- so i can grow dif strains that take dif lengths of time or try dif nutes side by side. or just run 24 5 gal buckets with subcools supersoil and have drippers on a timer. I def like the low maintanance of the soil setup but I also like the speed and yield of hydro. Is this a good plant amount for the area? should there be more or less? i would like to get 4oz per plant every 2 months, i have a seperate veg room

Also i havent decided how I want to light it, would 4 1000w lights be enough power and have even distribution or I was thinking of running 6 600w lights and maybe also some t5 fluoros around the sides.

also does anyone have any experience with the Bell lighting reflectors?http://www.westcoastgrowers.com/belllighting.htm or these solar revolution rotating light movers?http://www.westcoastgrowers.com/solarrevolution.ht
with these new sunpulse bulbshttp://www.utopiasupply.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=38&Itemid=53&TreeId=10

any help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys

I've got an opinion.

My opinion is you're a ludicrous person asking for experts and SUBCOOL HIMSELF for advice on your first post.

ludacris? shit if Arjan, Howard Marks, Jack Herer and every other professional grower were on this forum I would be askin for their opion too, What the fuck man. its just a simple question, what does it matter if I have posted before, I've grown before. I just didnt want every guy who is using cfls to chime in and give their 2 cents without having the experience of using a high wattage grow setup

4 - 4x4 tables flood and drain. 1k watts per table. SOG 36 plants per table. 2lb per lamp. GOGO.

EDIT: Or 9 plants per table if SOG is too many babies for you :D

Or you could go with 2 4x8 flood tables with 2 1k over each table, depends on how many plants you have (90 fit nice on a table). Just sayin. :D

i was kinda hopin to stay away from tables, i like the idea of buckets cause i can move em around and rotate them and i can space em apart if they get to bushy, any idea what kind of spacing i should use with buckets and what kind of light arangement? i can get as many babies as i need, there will be a separate mom room and veg room
