That SLH still looks good despite her car trip dude :P

Judging by the Aussie thread this stuff seems to be the strain to grow?

How do you find the cheese in comparison to the SLH?

Certainly is a wicked plant.. I would never hold it against anybody for growing it.
The Cheese is a really heavy smoke to the uplifting (but still ass-fucking) High of the SLH.

Wow, that is a huge stretch. Im guessing you didnt use enough lights/too high? Were they really thin & lanky?

now they actually arent that bad. 2 x 400w lights, but now 4 weeks into flower the tops differ quite abit in height so light is far away from some. can have a peek in my journal if you want. i think yield will be pretty good :) anyway. subbed for this

Hey Ninja

Have been following in the background.
You should get a smahing yield from these mothers.

Might flower my old mothers as soon as the new ones are ready to give enough cuttings.
Al B Fuct always use to compost his mothers instead of flowering.
Any idea why?
Top idea to Flower these mums.

Check out my journal if you get a chance *(tips & sugestions) .....

All the best mate

Hey dude, Cheers for coming out of the shadow & posting..
As far as im aware Al. B Fuct never flowered his mothers as they didnt suit his growing styles.. His is a firm SOG grower, and believes with artificial lighting that it is useless past 1m from the bulb, so it was easier for him to just compost em.
..Tho that is just the vibe i get from reading his threads - i would never dare speak for the great man..

Last Day Of Veg today :-)

Here are some photos for you guys of the ladies. I finally got around to putting the screen in there, and it took some convincing, but i got most of the branches where i wanted em..
It looks a little thin in there now, but give it a week or two & you wont recognise it :D

Hey Ninja looking good.
I'm about to do a SLH from GH 12/12 from seed
To date I can't find anyone that has done this.
Hope it goes well

They are coming along smashingly. I can see that there is going to be a lot of competition for space already. Old mothers branch like crazy. Can you take a shot from underneath? It would be cool to do a scrog with enough room underneath for a couple of bean bags and a small coffee table. Its hard for me to spend much time with my plants because of the intensity of the lights. It would be a mad place to chill. 28°C 50%RH sounds nice to me this time of year too. I will have to "sketch up" up some designs and get them going next grow. 8 will attest for my fascination of the understorey.

The Air Pump running them:

This was the temperature just after lights on.. The temperature climbs to about 19Degrees average.. Should sit real nice when i add another 400W in there.

That looks awesome dude. You've done some serious training with them.

How deep is the water? Is the medium immersed in water or just the lower pot?
Could you immerse hydroton in water and aerate around it? If so, it would lower my setup by around 30 cm.
This whole roots in water business has me fascinated if you can't half tell from my journal.

Hey Rusty,
The top pot sits about 12cm above the bottom pot, so I guess that means I have 12cm of water to play with. The Hydroton is not immersed in water, but there is no reason it cannot be.. So long as the water is airated. It would run similiar to a drip system in that the medium is constantly wet, buy still has plenty of Oxygen available for the roots.
