Looking for the originals - not reproductions

I may be pissing in the wind, but if possible, could someone point me in the right direction to locate "real deal/original" seeds of such memorable strains as Panama Red, Colombian Gold and Acapulco Gold; like we had back in the day? As the title states, not reproductions; or if not available, as close a reproduction as can be had.

You might do well to check out Seedboutique.com as they have A LOT of seeds from A LOT of different breeders. Sorry I don't know a specific one to help your search. Can I ask what it is about these strains that attracts you? Nostalgia?

God I remember those days of good bud and low prices! $20 for a 5 finger ounce and $275 a pound, for a good pound of Gold, Red or Columbian!

I moved my share of dat chit back in the day!

I’m still looking for seed for the original strain of Thai sticks from the 70’s. I think the Lemon Thai is the closest I’m going to find unless someone here knows what the original strain was and what seedbank has it. It was a scrawny little strain (Sativa I think), smooth smoke, wrapped around a bamboo skewer and tied onto the skewer with thread but man would it kick your ass! A pinwheel was all it took for 2 or 3 people! Ahhhhh, those were the days. S

Me and the wife were talking about Thai earlier; if only we would have had the foresight and attempted to preserve them. But who knew...

Dammit… I sure wish I’d saved a film bottle of each of the oldies. But alas, I didn’t. S

Film bottle... Careful, some folks might get confused and picture an 8mm movie in a mason jar. ;) Probably lost them there too... you talk about nostalgia, got me to thinking back; I can still hear the whine of dads old wind up Dejur Citation.

Sadly, time passes so fast and the older I get the faster it goes; then the realization of how so much has changed starts setting in.

I was talking with some kids the other day about technology and how my Computer Literacy class in school consisted of an in depth discussion about 80 column punch cards. Then I mentioned Microfiche... simply got a "huh" along with a puzzled look that could only be construed to convey the following question, "Microfiche??? you mean like Sardines?"

Okay, need to lay off the sauce and get off here; I'm babbling.
