Newbie with a cpl questions.

how many plants can fit in 3 gallon grow bags under a 400 watt hps in a closet 24 1/2'' deep, 67'' wide, and 67'' high. Is the one 400 watt hps enough? What is the best thing to oxygenate water? I heard something about oxygen bubble balls? I plan on using a mix of vermiculite, pearlite, peatmoss, with some fine dolomite lime, and im using advanced nutrients 3 pack. Should i add a little bit more than the recommended does bc there is very little nutes? Also, can i use tap water to leach a plant?

I grow 4 plants under a 400 watt HPS.

If you are growing in soil, no need to oxygenate the water.

I would go slow on adding more nutes, so you don't burn the plants.

I use tap water, feed 1 day a week, water with plain water another day that week.

Hope this helps :joint::peace:

as said, 4 indica dominant plants is good and your space is just right for a 400 watt light. that light is going to put out a bit of heat so make sure you have your room ventilation finished and stable before you add plants. you are going to have to find a way to exhaust air out so plan ahead.

start with less than recommended amount of nutes and keep increasing as long as your plants can stand it.

if by leach you mean flush the container of all nutes, then yes you can use tap water, some people like to let tap water sit a few hours to dissipate chlorine.
