How to get black bud

This is a trick that I learned from old Ed Rosenthal back in the day and recreated today with poppy pods and leaf.

Basically, what you need to do is submerge your plant matter into a pot of boiling water - and simmer for 10 minutes. Then take that stuff out and dry naturally.

Now, it will still be bright green when taken out of the boiling water - but as the stuff dries slowly it WILL turn black.

This is also known as the 'water cure'.

But yeah, I'm sub'd to the other water cure thread and he does say it lost all flavor. That's a big part for me too, so maybe I'll try this with one of my buds, but def not all of them.

Hey, even Ed Rosenthal said this is a last resort to a cure.

You do it when you get some rank cough bud that has not been cured and prolly microwaved!

Then, you water cure it just to get a smoother smoke.

It's def. not for primo buds.

Didn't mean to offend I was just inferring that if it didn't smell like weed, it wouldn't smell suspicious. Hash doesn't have the same flavor of weed, but people still enjoy it. Same thing goes for when you use a vaporizer. The taste is different.

As for marijuana, people don't like it strictly for the smell or the taste. It's often an acquired taste, (for most people) just like alcohol, that is the result of positive reinforcement. Most people (not everyone, but most) don't like the taste of their first drink, and most find their first toke pretty harsh, however because of the positive reinforcement of the pleasurable effects of MJ and alcohol, we end up enjoying that flavor.

Also some people just grow the shit to sell it, and honestly people should be glad there are non-smokers who grow because it only increases the supply for everyone and drives down the price

Either way, marijuana isn't a sacred substance to live one's life around, it's just a spice of life that can enhance certain aspects of it. Some people like the taste, some people like the high, some people like both. Everyone should have the right to grow it

Remember, most the bud is green plant matter - and you can skuff bud all you like you'll still get hella high from it because most all the THC is in the green!

1) If the THC was ONLY in the trichomes, why arn't ppls smoking HASH and still bothering with BUD after all these years?
2) Why does Cannabis OIL get you the highest high of all?
