Using chicken wire with "Sea of green"

I have a grow box that is 4x3x3 feet. It is lit up with 13 T12 florescent lights. Due to the space and the power of the lights i thought I should set up a large piece of chicken wire across the whole box at 1 foot high.
This way when they grow up to the chicken wire you bend them to grow along the wire. Creating a thicker canopy and more light for the top colas.
Does anyone know a better way for me to grow in my box utilizing all my space and light?

Chicken wire is harsh man. Unless you want your girls to squeeze through and the wire to embed itself, I'd use something else. Buy a trellis net. like 5 bucks at any garden supply store.

And "Chicken Wire" is probably the most commonly used material for making one! It may not be the best, but I'm sure it's the most common!

LST SCROG will be best. Let the plant grow through the screen, and then use C or S shaped clips made from thin stainless steel wire (buy at home depot) to lightly pin your plants down to the screen. Works like a charm, and is super easy to maintain.

If you were to use chicken wire get some snips and cut out bigger holes, I tried ScROG with it, def need bigger holes.

If you're going with a weaved scrog, I'd definitely recommend this

I have never used this technique before. A friend told me it was the best way for my grow box, due to the lack of space. What are the benefits using chicken wire compared to just growing the plant straight up? Will growing a canopy give me better results than with out it?

Scrog really helps if you're flowering with fluorescents and lets you maximize the light you get out of them. I've read about T5 fluorescent scrogs that perform like HPS standard grows. Also if you're using multiple smaller watt lights, scrog is great for helping you max out your efficiency.

Very interesting, any journals that you could point to me using this method? I would like to see it in action. I plan to do a 150 hps grow and this might help maximize my light. But arent scrogs more for clones?
