cheers dude, sounds like i'm experiencing all kinds of lockout at the moment. i'll wait until she's perked up and then sort out my pH. i'm sure that will be a battle in itself, having to flush with a lowered pH water to get the soil to a good level, maybe leading to overwatering etc etc.cant be totally positive on the last pic, that kind of yellowing could be as simple as too little nitrogen, though that doesn't seem like it should be the case. the first pic with the giant spot in the middle, looks like more of the calcium issue, but again i am not 100% on this as you are currently fixing a pH imbalance.
what i meant by my last post was, at that moment, they were over watered. think of your watering like a scale of 1-10 (this isnt a perfect analogy but it should work). 1 being too dry, 10 being too wet. you got her to 10. as that soil dries out, its going to go from 10 down to 1 gradually. think of 4-6 as the Goldilocks zone. as you approach that zone, they are going to perk up because they have the amount of water they actually desire. as it keeps getting dryer, it will move out of that zone again, and they will start drooping all over again as they start reaching to 1. you don't want actually wait for the droop again, you actually want to predict it (this may take time) and water just before that happens, but only water it up to that Goldilocks zone again (just enough to perk, not enough to over water).
remember, slightly under watering is almost always fine as it will usually only promote root growth (so long as you don't go overboard and let her die from lack of water). OVER WATERING is dangerous because A. you cant just fix it like you can with an under watered plant (i.e. you can always add water, but you cant remove it) and B. it can lead to Root Rot and cause some serious issues.
i hope this was a little clearer!

hows it goin? any better? three of my nine are doin bad.....really droopy and small. I think it's a watering issue..?
do you not think they could do with some nutes up em? the soil isn't so wet any more, if this were a normal situation i would probably be thinking about watering tomorrowKlosetK got u on the right track, as for weather to water or not I think not watering now and when you do flush them really well, like soak them to fix pH, then wait it out again ang get on a every 2-3 days secedule, couple more CFL would help greatly too...
i agree.....probably water lightly tomorrow then flush a little later to fix the pH and I would suggest only 2 days of waitingKlosetK got u on the right track, as for weather to water or not I think not watering now and when you do flush them really well, like soak them to fix pH, then wait it out again ang get on a every 2-3 days secedule, couple more CFL would help greatly too...
the others are really good actually mate, they don't seem to have been affected to be honest. perhaps because they're younger and have a lesser nute requirement.i agree.....probably water lightly tomorrow then flush a little later to fix the pH and I would suggest only 2 days of waiting
as far as the CFLs......idk couldnt hurt....
i think that is a plus to mh/hps cause they help dry out the soil from their heat......
Good luck man....really hope your babies come through for you.....
how are the others?
well you never said what soil your using i dont think...but i will assume either Fox Farm or Miracle Grow, either way the nutriens are there....there just not accesable, but good luck mando you not think they could do with some nutes up em? the soil isn't so wet any more, if this were a normal situation i would probably be thinking about watering tomorrow
cheers
sorry man i didn't explain very well, i meant i would drop the pH so that it can get access to the nutes, not give them a feedwell you never said what soil your using i dont think...but i will assume either Fox Farm or Miracle Grow, either way the nutriens are there....there just not accesable, but good luck man
haha fair playlol, after reading back i get what your sayin man...my bad, totaly baked im
wt is d nutes ur usin...? wt r d values...? like NPK vaues...??day 18: things are going pretty slowly
obviously the biggun has been stunted cuz of all the problems and i hope it will recover. i've watered thoroughly with pH 6ed water. same for the little ones.
the good news is the little ones are growing okay.
i'm now just gonna keep watering with half strength nutes at pH 6 when the soil is dry, probably every three days ish.
