Help with carbon filter

I am looking for a carbon filter that isnt fucking huge like they all are. Problem is my grow closet cab is 71" tall but its only 20" deep. Once you factor in the super sun2 air cooled hood and putting the carbon filter up top, i wont be able to raise the light all the way to the top of the cab. I also need a filter that can handle good air flow. I am going to be using a 450cfm inline fan but i also have a fan controller so I dont plan on running it on high. I have looked into can filters but smallest I can find is the can 33 38 special and its 31"x12" still. Any indeas? I dont want to put the carbon filter on the floor of the cab becuase heat is up top.

Think i might have found a idea. My cab closet is a total of 133cf. If i use a 4" fan that is 170cfm with a 4" carbon filter and use some 6" reducer to 4" duct on the hood I should be great. The 4" carbon filter is a lot smaller and so is the fan so I wont lose a TON of room inside. Sound like a good idea?

What are you talking about? A duct booster might not be enough but a in-line duct fan is what are looking for when it comes to carbon filter/cooled hood.
Cheers!
