Grow tent & Magnum xxxl 6"

I have 6x6x6 grow tent. 2 magnum xxxl hoods. I would like to use both but will use 1 if I have to. If I set up the magnum xxxl hood in my tent it will take about a foot from the top. Leaving only 5 feet. But the pots will take another foot or foot and half. Leaving me with not a lot of space for the plants to grow. Somebody told me to try scrog. I haven't decided what wattage bulb I'm going to use. If anybody has ideas on what else I can do. Thanks!

I would like to try and work with what I have but if necessary I can changer things around. Only thing I can't change is the tent

How many plants do you plan to grow, wattage of light, soil/hydro, what type of ventilation, strain you plan on growing. You really did not leave much of a question to be answered. As for as the 5 ft of grow space goes. Veg until they are about 12-16 inches tall then flower. Scrog, LST, Supercropping, topping will help you control height.

is the hood air cooled?... can you fit both hoods in that room?... do you have an inline fan to vent? cause that much space can still alot... easy!

If I was going to use both xxxl mangnums I was going to use 2 600w, but If I used 1 I would use a 1000w bulb. I was going to use a Tjernlund 6" inline 530 cfm fan to cool both or just one xxxl magnums. Sorry I wasn't so clear in my first question. Thanks for the info about Vegging till 12-16 inches that gives me a good idea on what I need to do. I will do more research on starting a Scrog.

You may want to look into the new Ceramic Metal Halides. They only come in 400 watt. But with two hoods outfitted with 400s would be way easier to cool than 2-600s or 1-1000. They are getting great reviews. Many growers are swapping a single 1000 for 2 of these. I just got one myself and cant wait to try it out for flowering.
