I planted a heavy duty fruity about a month and a half ago, its only about a foot tall with 2 main heads and about 10 internodes. Its only a month old and i see what look like TINY BABY pistils with small white hairs coming out. I vegged my ak's and bb's and about 8 other strains for over 2 and a half months and never saw a sign of sex till flowering. Also I have a small mystery seed from when i lived in japan about 15 years ago that i found in a little glass jar in storage long forgoten, planted about 20 and only 1 sprouted, Its about a month and a half old and same thing, what look like micro pistils with micro hairs coming out. I'm fairly new to growing still and was wondering if this was possible or normal or abnormal or what. I assure you they look just like pistils but if you need a pic ill get some. Involves macro lens and tripod and turning off fans etc.
Veg lights 600 w mh and 600 w hps 18 hours on.
Feedback appreciated.

yes it can if your doing an indoor grow you need to switch your light cycle to 12/12 and if your doing an outdoor grow you just gotta wait until the light cycle outside is 12/12. let me know if your gonna need more help.

Yeah, you are seeing the pre-flowers, which show before a photoperiod change, and signal that a plant is ready for flowering. My J-1 bean broke soil surface on 5-11, and here's the top.
