how do i make my plants really bushy ¿?

i've got 2 plants about 3 weeks old and they are not that bushy... like the plants i see in other threads. is there something i can do to make them bushy, or will they become bushy on their own. i am a first time grower and any advice is appreciated. and i got 2 other plants about 7 weeks old and would like them to become bushier too.

Look into topping the plants, i say you can safely do it right now.

Topping will produce 2 main tops, top them, 4 main, top them etc etc.

You will end up with a monster, like me. Learn to tame the monster, or she will eat you up

How much more advice do you need? Top them, then put them outside.

To top, get the very very newest growth (2 tiny tiny leaves) take about 80%-90% off.

Put them in bigger pots, let mother nature do her thing.

I asked the same question,someone told me to bend the plant,make a u out of piece of hanger,and hold it down.?Guess this makes it grow differently.But haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure if its too late to be done on yours.

If you want them to be bushy, for starters put them in a decent size pot. They are super stretched and they are going to keep stretching if you dont transplant them into at least a 2 gallon pot if you want medium sized plants.

I've been asking some of those same questions, and got some great feedback. Some good techniques to look into are, LST (Low Stress Training), topping, supercropping, and FIM. Some of these look like they require a skilled hand, but offer greater yields. Good luck with your grow man.

you can top as many times as you want. but as they get old youll half to stake them. You can bend your plants, i tie a string from the 2nd nude from the top bend plant easly just alittle and tie it off at the bottom. the plant will grow and bend it self, with little to no stress. as it grows and bends the top will turn back up and after a couple node come up you can do the same thing again. this will let all branches go grow upward makeing more colas..with out cutting the top off. both are good at increaseing your yeild.

Second Chronichaze on this, You are not getting enough light through the day at all. They should be about 4in shorter and with more leaves growing out not just your main stem growing up. That's what happens when you aren't getting enough sun light. Put them outside, If your gonna do a outside grow windows won't work unless your getting at least 5-7 hours of direct sunlight, Or even more is better!

By the way, If you decide to bury them outside cut the first node's off and bury it up to where you cut and all that stem will start growing roots, I will strengthen your plants as well with more support, I would recommend getting a root stimulate if you transplant.

I have never grown outdoors but that seems like a very good thing to know. If I ever get around to outdoors, this for sure will be something I would do!

OH! sorry dude Ya I def. agree with on the pot size with size and on getting good growth, I was telling DankNug about the sunlight. He's not getting enough constant sunlight so they stretch.

also to make my plants more space efficient (i guess u could say bushy) i top them, and wen i transplant them i take the bottom two branches off and put the soil very close to the next two branches
