Question about Fox farms Nutes??

Well, this morning I went to the Hydro store and bought some OF to go along with my Happy Frog, the stuff was 21.99 plus tax for a 1.5 cubic feet bag! Dang, the happy frog was 19 for a 2 cubic foot bag! Stuff aint cheap, but then I don't want cheap shit.... this is for my babies. :)

What I'm going to do I guess is mix a little happy frog, a little oceans forest and a little perilite together for my soil blend. I'll be sure to flush well with every transplant, I'm growing a very slow flowering strain, like 18 weeks long, so I'll have some more questions when it comes to adding nutes when that time comes. Does that plan sound solid?

Me and my son went to the grow shop today. He did the same thing...bought a mix of both OF and HF.

Awesome, I'm thinking I'll do it something like 5 parts OF, 3 parts HF and 2 parts perilite, I'm going to look for some more perilite though, because the stuff i bought is very small, I want something bigger in there in addition to this, some of both big and little chunks, that will really help drainage...

get FF big and Chunky perlite.
That's the stuff right there! I saw it at the store and didn't want to buy a 4 cubic foot bag of perilite so i passed, ever since that's exactly what I've been seeing in my head, "I need to get some perilite like the kind I saw at the store the other day".... It must've been this stuff. I'll go swap what I got for this on Sat before I transplant. (I think I'll do so soon, the gals are two weeks old yesterday so it's going to be time for new digs real soon...)

If you guys were only going to use one which would it be: The Fox Farm Soil Nutrient Trio with Grow, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom

OR

The Fox Farm supplements, Cha Ching, Beasty Blooms, and Open Sesame???

I know that the latter are only supplements and the first are base nutes. At first glance it seems like base nutes would need to be the first thing administered but with all these wonderful things in this soil I'm going to be using, what's wrong with only using the flowering supplements all by them selves? Has anyone ever tried using one and then the other, or maybe had two plants they did this with to see what the differences would be?
Help me ohh growers of the herb, you are all new American freedom fighters! (unless your not in America, then your just a freedom fighter) :)

ima say the trio. ( open sesame, beastie bloomz, cha ching) cuz thats what i use and im getting great results. but this is my first time to use them. only bad thing is they run very hot.

you want to use veg nutes about 2 weeks after your transplant or less. when you transplant thos thing will love it and suck most of the nutes in the soil out. just feed straight water for a week or so and see how they do. if they look nitro deficient then hit them with grow.

btw the tiro im using is only for flowering so you will have to get a veg nute. i recommend jacks classic 20-20-20. cheap and works very well. its what UB recommends so you know its good.

So if I got this strait, you use the additive trio from FF right now along with Jacks Classic? Witch Jack's CLassic is it?
I came around here for a while a few years ago when I had a job that didn't track web usage, I later got one that did so I haven't been around for a while... I saw UB give someone else advice and he seemed to be solid. I wonder if he might magically now appear and tell me himself... that would be cool :)

thanks pineapple

no, the All Purpose Jacks classic with a Cal Mag added is for Veg, and the powdered Trio with added Cal Mag and for flowering. when you get them they will come with a feeding chart. just use it for your feeding schedule.
