building a computer for 600+100 for OS

Hi so i was wondering if anyone could build a computer using 600 dollars for it and 100 for windows 7. It would be used for gaming. I would build it but im not good with low budgets. My build was 1600. This is for my cousin who doesnt have as much money. We are looking for a pure gaming rig that will last at least 1-2 years.

go i7 with a ati graphics card, the dx11 will last u longer than a very powerful dx10 nvidia, are u in us or uk?

I dont know about building but im sure you could get a free copy of windows 7 from a torrent then just burn it to a dvd

what resolution monitor? and yeah, my windows 7 ultimate which lasts 4eva was torrent, no probs at all.
