Looking Good! keep it up, seems like it has come along nicely.
thanks joker,Not sure why my post didn't go through. I bought those lights at a Sacramento hydroshop so I don't have a link. The hydroshop is run by a guy named EJ and if you bump into em tell him his painter says hi The cfls I used were pretty nice because they didn't bring my temps up too much in a small closet. Your ladies are looking good bud keep it up man. I think you still have some cup to cut back but hope it gets better soon
There fixed it for ya bud No worries I got yathanks joker,
ill have to do more research online to try and find em i guess, i am struggling with temps in the box every time i try to add more light, it is getting hotter outside all the time. i am going to have to add a larger breaker because i trip the one i have when i get all my lights and fans and teh ac going, but i need them all to keep it cool in there. even in my largere areas i am experiencing low 80's temps.
the roots are still bunching up on me, i never noticed before Joker pointed out to me, wasnt very observant i guess, i am trying harder.
always open to ideas.
You can check out my thread. I used the co2 generators and they worked well. Check out XNinjaX's thread about Co2 generators and look on page 31 i believe it is and I wrote out the math for it. It worked for me and you have a much smaller space so I think it would do wonders for your grow.hello,
i have been reading up some and found differnt types of co2 generators( they say co2 allows higher temps, higher temps i have) is the sugar yeast co2 contraption able to produce enough co2 to allow for temps of mid to high 80's?
any ideads or helpful experinces or threads i can checkout?
1" will burn them. Do 2 to be safe. With a lot of cfls they will grow into the lights rather quickly.Great little set up man ! I would suggest getting more cfls in there and get them closeer to the foilage ,like 1" away from the leaves.peace
Yes, how rude of me lol, It was joker who pointed out the roots, sorry bout that one man lol, will look into the co2 generator for the small cab. ill have to get another timer to shut down the fans when the co2 is being pumped in. i plan to add mopre cfl's and put them flat on top, or suspend them horizontally. thanks for input. There fixed it for ya bud No worries I got ya

sweet, i will have to check them out, i will be going to homedepot soom with a buch of money to invest on my hobby lol, will definatly be on my list. thanks all for looking and your ideas.Hey guy I have a 4x2x4 cab have a passive intake and a 70 cfm broan bath exhaust fan I got at lowes for $30. I am running 2 150w hps and a couple 23w cfls and it keeps it at 75 degrees all day. Since your cab is a tad smaller you could get away with a 50cfm fan and they only run $14 here is the link

LED boards aren't efficient enough yet for growing cannibis... compared to the lumen output of CFLs and price wise, doesn't even compare. Get a few more CFLs for the areas that aren't growing as quickly. As far as heat, I have a small cabinet with three CFLs inside and the temps are pretty decent. What I did was the same as you, except you should add one more fan on the opposing side of the one you have. One pushing the hot air out and one pulling cool air in. Works for meHello,
I have been lookign around and saw the led light boards, would these grow anything decent , and would it help my heat situation?

can post a few pics if you want to see my setup
thanks for getting back to me, no problem i wasnt to worried. i was thinking of using a powerstrip and mounting to the door, im not sure ill have to see which works best. i may just get a couple of florecent tubes though, you have a preference of floros or cfls?Yo sorry about not getting back to you with photos earlier... just been busy. I had a chance to take pics of the light setup... basically its a three way splitter with bulb attachments all hanging on these bike hangers I picked up from right aid. You could also use a power strip and attach it in some way to the top of the cabinet...
do you think think that 6 23w will be enough to flower with, what k value should i seek? i have read 2700k flower 6500k veg, and also have read a mix of the 2 and have also saw a variation of many others, does anyone have an variation that works well for them? You can get Y splitters and increase the number of bulbs by 2. i did that with a vanity bar from home depot and a lamp cord. walla 6 23 watt bulbs 138 watts total.
