Dry Leafes

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh ..... it might. Is your soil dry most of the time? At what stage of growth are you? While you are at it you might want to include things like strain and grow room setup and conditions and nutes used and pH level etc. and a few good clear pictures would be helpful too.

Hi I got these clones about a month ago they are in my patio at first I use T8 and the plant was barely growing so I switch to T5 4ft 8 tube 6500k about 6 or 7 inches above the plant and I just started using a fan I have the fan set on every few hours and stays on for 30 minutes each time and they are grand daddy purples and pot of golds they came in cubes and I put them in the 1 gallon pot with sunshine4 and ocean forest and for nutes I use advance micro,grow and bloom and I just added hygrowzyme and for mites I use Azatrol seems to be working pretty good my pH level is between 6 and 7 I'm also using some spray to get it more bushy and I spray pure water afterward when I stick my fingers in the pot sometimes it feels dry and when I feed them the water goes down real fast and sometimes a little slower I don't know why the leaves feels dry and it falls off when I lift them up to spray so here's some pics and tell me what you guys think.

I didn`t see a problem.I don`t know what to tell you.Double check your soil.Go out and buy a moisture meter.They are cheep at wallyworld.I normally presoak my soil so it doesn`t have dry spots.good luck!

I bought one of those moisture meter at home depot actually it was 3 in 1 it was for moisture,pH and light I use it to test the soil even though the soil was pretty dry the meter says wet so I return it.

Where were the leaves that dried up and fell off located on your plants? Maybe it is just the pictures but the worst I seem to see is maybe a slight bit of droop on a few lower leaves, and not more than would be abnormal on any given day once the lights have been on a while, especially since a fan is used.
It wasn't just the smallest bottom leaves was it?

do you spray with the lights on? I dont know what your original problem is, brick top probally nailed it but i do see some culing that looks like you might be cooking the leaves a bit.

no it's the mostly the top and middle of the leaves it's just dry and when I kinda like lift it up to spray it falls off so I'd have to be really careful but I don't understand why the leaves are dry. Should I not use a fan cause airs comes in and out of my patio there's few spot that's not fully covered. Someone here said I should use a fan 24/7 in my other thread.

I took a second longer closer look at the pictures and they do look a little drier than when I first looked but they just do not look dry enough for leaves to be dropping off when touched. I could not spot anything that points to something that could cause it so frankly I am not sure what to say might be the cause.
While I would not say it is probable it is still possible that it is genetic. It may be like some Neville's Haze where no matter how perfect everything is the leaves will drop off and by harvest the plants will look like a clipped poodle. It is not something that is common in many strains, to lose leaves on a regular basis early in flower and through flower until the end, but it can happen in some strains.
As for the fan, unless it is blowing rather hot and very dry air on your plants it should be beneficial rather than detrimental.
Do you have any idea of the average humidity in your grow area? To use Neville's Haze for an example again, some strains, like it, like high humidity so possibly if your humidity is very low and it is a strain that wants higher humidity. That could cause part or even all of what you are seeing if the difference in humidity and what the plants want the humidity to be is great enough for a long enough period of time.
How about your average grow area temperature? Do you know what it normally is around?

The temperature is around 70 degrees in my patio but under the grow light I don't know how hot it is should I add a little heater? And no I don't spray with the light on. At first I didn't let the plant to fully dry before putting under the light but now I let it dry and then put it under the light. I will be putting the light out side pretty soon and when it get's dark I will bring the plant in and have the light on for like 4 hours because I want the plant to get as big as possible before flowering. is this a good idea?
