Lookin real good! I'm starting my first grow aswell and it was cool to see the different styles of growing here. I'm curious to see what they produce, I'm really thinking of at least trying lst on one of my babies but I'm still unsure. Which way do you think is turning out the best so far?

it really depends what your growing under, like lights like hps or outdoors you might want to top it but if your growing under weak lights then i would lst it

Thanks for stopping by my grow and is great that your starting you first grow. This is my second and it was only my first run where i learnt most of the mistakes

Out of the three plants the LST seems to be the one that is the furthest along and has real tight and compact bud sites all the way down the plant. This said the main cola is thinker than the straight up plant but i feel the straight up one will have a bigger main cola than the LST by the time its finished. On the LST plant some of the hairs on the smaller bud sites are starting to turn red but the trichomes all look clear at this stage. I will be posting some real close up pics of this tomorrow.

The topping of plants really slows the growth for around 7 to 10 days so it looks now so far behind the other two but i have faith it will catch up plus i am sure it will take longer to finish than the other two. I guess we will only know when they are done and harvested. which i hope will be by the end of this month.

My suggestion would be not to top a plant on your fist run and if you look at my plants the LST has not really been LST to the fullest as i had zero veg time which is where you would be able to kep it vegging while all the recovery and new growth happens. Doing one straight up is a good place to start but LST is not easy to master but you have to start somewhere

Also im coming into some Aurorapolo seeds and straight back crossed Aurora seeds.
Im get a 400 watt hps system. So maybe i shall do several different way of grwoing next grow.

They sound like some nice seeds fella... i have some from AK47 and bubblicious nirvana seeds plus 2 more fo the cheeswreck left but i am not really in a position to keep growing as the riskk where i live is to great for even a single plant!!!

The 400 watt should really get you some good light and in turn some fat buds my 600 kicks ass but depending on the size of you room the 600s get very hot. I also wish i had got one of those reflectors that has the wholes so you can run ventalation through the reflector itself. I solved this by hanging a 8inch fan next to the light blowing accross the buld which really helped me to get the light close to the top of the plants.

Keep checking back here as this stage is a little dull but i am a few weeks from harvest +rep for more thana single post on my grow

808 has hit it the nail on the head here and also check out his grow as he is doing hte same test as me but he is doing outdoors... lucky bastard With the CFLs LST would be a good option as you can put those bulbs so close to the plant and if its just got one main cola with a light on top that will get all the light and not the rest of the plant. Also you might want to look at side lighting as well as having lights on top during the veg stage it will really fatten those potential girls up

Hi all,

I have been using Terra Flores combined with pk 13/14 with a ph of 6.0... i am now thinking as i am hitting the last 3 to 4 weeks of flowering to drop off the Terra Flores and just go with straight pk 13/14.

What do you all think to this or should i just stick with what i am doing? The Canna chart shows to only use pk 13/14 around half way thorugh the grow for 1 week but on the bottle it says use it for the last week of flowering!

Not sure whats for the best but i really want to maximise the buds any usefull help will be repayed in +rep'ing

They are doing so well the LST plant is just covered in crystals i hope the other two catch up over time but this cheesewreck is some super strong weed as when i touch the stem or leaves my fingers stink for a long time after!!!

I dropped a post on the thread but i am affraid not a great deal of advice but just becareful that you dont get to carried away with changes and flushing etc take it slow and try something and wait long enough to see if it has a positivea reaction

im not sure what you said the n-p-k was on the terra flores but i believe your supposed to use nutes during flowering with a n of low to zero and a high p-k so i would say go with the pk and the last week flush all the nutes out of your plant to maximize your smoking pleasure ....hope i helped a little looking great man! cant what to see what you get off of this! ohh and thanks for mentioning my grow above much appreciated!

So here is the straight up lady and really i have to say as its straight up i was expecting a bigger cola than the LST but this is not the case!! I hope it is just a few days behind and it will take off soon.

The first pic is a shot of a lower down bud, the others are of the main cola.

Here is the one i bent over to the side and as you see its the most potent one of the 3... the main cola is fatter than the straight up and i see more crystal on this than maybe both the other two!

As the last post the first pic is of a lower down bud the rest are teh main cola.

Here is the topped plant and the two main colas look great the cutting really slowed this one down compared to the other two as this one is showing alot less bud at this stage!

Again the first shot is of a lower down bud but on this one the lower down growth is minimal to say the least! I am hoping this one is anything up to 10 - 14 days behind the other two. The rest of the shots focus on the two main colas.

just subscribed m8, ur plants look great, can i just ask why u didnt veg, if it were to reduce time why not just get an autoflower, p.s looks great, i might b growin cheesewreck after my next 2 grows wit pineapple chunk, blueberryy cheese and jack herer.

The main reason why i started the 12/12 from seed was that i read some good threads and at the time was in the middle of my first grow and just trying to cover my ass as i had a feeling the shit white widow i had in flower was going downhill and within a week and a half it started producing seeds.... A long story!

From what i read from the start it wasnt really about reducing that much time as the plant still technicaly does veg but just on a 12/12 light cycle as they still need to be in a state where they can flower. When i look at the cheesewreck i often wish i had vegged it as it would be much bigger now which would be really great as i would for sure get more dank bud to smoke! Once i had started i didnt have the heart to chop them so i decided to experiment with the Topping, LST etc as being a noob i need the practise.

I notice that your doing a pc grow and the best part about this method has to be that the plants all stay the same size and they are small mine are just over a 1ft and i dont see them getting much taller just wider... i hope Thanks again for stopping by hopefully you will stick around

I got my cheesewreck from atitude and the 3 seeds i planted it popped its seed using the paper towel method in under 24 hours.

sounds like a great strain, btw i finished the pc grow and if u want u can check out the smoke report, ive had trainwreck whilst in the dam, i know a guy who grew some and he said it was a wierd phenotype but i thought it looked beautiful, ive also smoked alot of the original exodus cheese and its defo 1a the best strains in the world, i kud imagine that mixin the 2 would be a great plant to grow, and with good germination rates like you say i will definatly have to grow it at some point. also, why top when you can fim and get 4 main colas instead of 2, each to thier own as they say. i will defo stick around as im seriously considerin growin this strain.
