It's been yet another good week for my plants (I love it when that happens). This is where you say 'Enough talk, bring on some pics!' To this I say okay.:-P

Pics 2-5 are the bagseed clone. It has now been flowering for 22 days. When it reaches day 25 of flowering, I intend to post side by side pics of it and its mother plant when at the same point.

pics 6-7 This plant is now about 15 inches tall. I think I'm going to start flowering it within a week as I don't want to have to transplant it and its in a 3 gallon pot.

pic 8 This one has been in flowering for 6 days now. I can see what looks like pistols but it's still too early to tell for sure.:leaf::peace:

I realize there is not much of a point in doing this, but just for kicks I thought I'd show some pics comparing my bagseed clone with its motherplant. The clone (pics 1 and 2) has been flowering for 25 days now. The pics of the mother plant (pics 3 and 4) are from when it was at 25 days of flowering. The mother plant has already been harvested.

So, is everyone used to the new look of RIU yet? I really hated it at first, but after just a short while I think it does seem to have potential. Maybe it will be okay after all.

Today I just wanted to do a little mini-update on just one of my 3 plants. The one pictured has been in 12/12 for 10 days now and I am very happy to say it's definately female.:hump:

Hello Smokey, thanks for checking things out over here. I don't think I have mentioned where my garden is. I have an extra spare bedroom that my babies get all to themselves. I have never taken a pic of the plants "under the lights" because my cam is such a piece of crap that I have to work hard moving my plants and taking many pics just to get a few that are decent enough to post.

Consider yourself invited to post away on this thread.-Peace

Time for another full update. I found a wasp in my garden today. I have no idea as to how it got in there, but I killed him. I hope it was alone.

pics 3-5 This plant has been flowering for 14 days now.
Pics 6-9 After I took last weeks pics of this plant I intelligently dropped one of my cfls on top of it.:dunce: It damaged the top 2 inches of the stem and one of the leaves. The stem recovered beautifully but some damage is evident on the leaf in pics 7 and 8. This plant now stands just a hair over 17.5 inches from the soil, and I intend to start flowering her tonight.

Pics 10-12 This is the bagseed clone, which has been flowering for 30 days. Her mother plant took 8 weeks to finish, so I'm thinking this one only has about 4 weeks left to go. I can hardly wait!--Peace

Looking Good.
I especially like the plant that you are about to flower. Very bushy. Also the damage doesn't look to bad

I don't think I've said it, but I'm not growing this to sell. It will all be personal stash. That fact was probably obvious since I only have three plants. Anyway, my stash ran out a couple days ago, so now I'm really anxious for these babies to come along. Now, let's get on to the important stuff (the pics).

Pics 1-5 are of the Green Bud plant that I started flowering last week.
Pics 6-10 are of the other Green Bud plant, which has now been flowering for 21 days.
The last 3 pics are the bagseed clone, which has now been flowering for 37 days.

One thing about the clone that disappointed me is that after I switched it's light cycle to 12/12, it only grew another 2.5 inches. It's mother nearly doubled in size. I'm guessing this lack of growth is probably due to a lesser developed root system. Oh well, like I've said, it is my first clone and I'm learning a lot from growing it.:peace:

Since all my girls are flowering now, I made a small upgrade to my lights. I'm still using an all cfl lineup and I still only have enough sockets and y-split adapters for a total of 12 lights. My new setup includes the following:

11-42 watt cfls (2700 lumin)
1 --26 watt cfl (1750 lumin)

All of those cfls color is 2700k. The grand total is 488 watts putting out a combined 31,450 lumin. My grow area is roughly 3 feet across and 1.5 feet deep. Even though only one plants is 2 feet tall, we'll go with 2 feet in height for a total of about 9 square feet. 31,450 lumin divided by 9 square feet = just under 3500 lumin per square foot (3,494.4). I'm going to stick with this setup through harvest time.:p:peace::leaf:

My clone has been flowering for 43 days now. Pic 1 is the clone and pic 2 is it's mother when it was at 43 days. I think the clone is about a week behind where the mother plant was after the same amount of flowering time. I harvested the mother at 54 days, but it looks to me like the clone will take a little bit longer. I can find a couple of amber trichs on it, but I also still see a number of clear trichs as well. I'm hoping it will be ready around day 60. I harvested almost 2 oz dry from the mother, but the clone is only 11 inches tall, so I'm hoping to get about an oz off it.:joint:

I've got some more pics to post. The buds on the clone are really starting to swell up.:p It's day 46 of flowering for her and I expect her to be ready for chopping within 2 weeks.:clap::grin:

Buds growing everywhere, I love it!:-P The clone is now on day 52 (last 2 pics). I started flushing her 5 days ago. Won't be long now. I cut a small bud from the middle of the plant and sampled it.:joint: It fuckin' ripped me apart.:eyesmoke: She's coming down later this week.:p

Thanks, McPot. I saw your most recent pics and I think your plants are coming along fine.:-P

I harvested the clone yesterday, probably several hours before the preceeding post.:-D I didn't get a wet weight, but I'm guessing that it's probably going to be a little less than an ounce, dry. Now I have some experience with clones, so it should grow better the next time!:-P Oh, I almost forgot. These are a couple of pics that I took of the clone right before harvesting her.

Hello all. I got 24 grams from the clone. I was a little disappointed as I was hoping for at least an ounce from this plant, but I'll take it. The quality is there, and I'll take that over quantity any day. The best thing about harvesting that plant is that now I have something to hold me over until the two Green Bud plants are ready.bongsmilie

The Green Bud plants are both doing great. Right off I want to say that there is some yellowing from the usual N def that occurs during flower, but it looks much worse in the pics due to my shitty camera. It's really not that bad at all, so I wanted to point that out.

Pics 2-5 This is the plant that had the rougher youth. It's on day 48 of flower. All it's leaves are curled down from having the cfls so close, so nothing to worry about there. CH9's recommended flower time for this strain is 8 weeks, but after reading many grow journals on the strain, it seems the flower time is more like 9-11 or 12 weeks. It does have much sativa in it so, that makes sense. Anyway, the top of this plant is starting to lean over a little bit from the weight of the cola. If it does end up going more than another 2 weeks (which I beleive it will), then I'll have to either tie it up or give it some kind of support stake. I don't have anything for doing this as I've never had to before, but I'll figure out something.

Pics 6-9 My girlfriend, at 34 days of flower. I know it's too early for this, but I'm already thinking anything less than 3 1/2 ounces from this one will be a disappointment. The cfls that I previously had around the clone are now around this big girl.:peace:

In my last post I got the age of the plants wrong by one day. Let's blame that on the quality of the smoke I got from the clone.:bigjoint: It messes me up. I've got another round of pics to post and I'll try to get the ages correct this time. The bushier plant (pics 1-5) is on day 40 of flower and the other one (pics 6-9) is on day 54. All seems to be going well for them. I love the size that the buds are getting to, especially considering they don't appear to be swelling as of yet.-P

ch9 has some good strains nice i would try g bolt and humbolt and cali
That's nice to hear. This is the first time for me to grow anything besides bagseed. I have exchanged quite a few e-mails with Pete (the ch9 breeder) and I find him to always respond very fast and with helpful info. That is why I decided to go with beans from his business in the first place. Thanks for the strain recommendations. One thing I am curious about is ch9's auto flowering strain. I think it's called Auto Smokey, or something like that. I'd like to try an automatic strain, but I'm still trying to decide on which one. By chance, do you know anything about ch9's auto?

all autos are easy but most only produce about a half to ounce no matter what....they automaticly flower about 20-30 days from seed on a 24/0 to a 16/8 and provide little matience
