You know Bush changed all the rules so that martial law can be called at any time, Since they would use foreign soldiers to do the enforcement they can possibly get around the Posse Comitatus laws. But you have to wonder why the deployments? Are we prepping for Invasion to yet another country? Are we getting ready to continue the Korean war ( It was never officially ended)? Iran? What could it be?

Perhaps the Gulf states are to be evacuated.

Haven't there already been shootings on the border? I believe the drug cartels rutinely shoot accross the border. With all this supposed shooting, it is hard to believe that someone hasn't been hit already. I think the Govt. is suppressing this info to quell riotous behaviour by American citizens. I've read that the Mexican Military has also been shooting accross the border, Excuse me, but isn't that an act of war?
