cloning for the first time plz help

ok so i have been geting good info from alot of you all and i been reading books, and other forums and watching vids about it but i wanna hear like the do's and donts of cloning.

like when is a good time to start cloning, do you realy need that root gel, are peat circles the best for cloning, if i clone a female will it be another female?... idk like i said this is my first time any info would be great.

my first grow had 5 plants but only 1 survived and was a girl, she is going to be 3 months old on the 7th, and been threw alot so she prolly isnt the size of a normal persons 3 month old. she has fallen off my roof, been blown around my patio, been underwatered for liek 3 weeks. but here are some newer pics of her.
ill make a second post with the pics my cam is being a pos atm

ok i got my cam to stop being a shitty lil bitch and upload my pics like i said she isnt to big but i am happy. should i start to top her so i get more outward groth? and from what i have been hearing u need like 3 to 4 nodes for a good clone. keep the info a coming

You need to wait for that plant to mature. At least 8 weeks old and branching

My mistake. I missed the part about it being 3 months. It's so small I thought it was 2 weeks tops. It looks pretty healthy for having such a rough start. Try using rapid rooters. They are the best thing in the world for cloning IMO.

i got them lil jiffy pucks that the mad scientis was talking about and the lil greenhouse, just need to go get that gel and wait a lil longer till she gets bigger ^^
