OK RIU! THE MUPPETMAN RUBBERMAID UPDATE!

For the past few weeks I've had a random bag seed going. And it's been healthy ever since a few days ago... Heres a pic.. 3rd pic. Tell me what you think... and what can do to save this baby.

Also I've Uploaded Pictures of my "5th Pic" Bubba Kush Cross With OG Kush & "4th Pic" Black Domina!
Tell me what you think! So far It's been 3 days since they've been in there new home!
It seems like there loving it!. I've got them going on 12/12 cycle.

Once again my set up is:

4 23 Watt 2700 K.
1 42 Watt 2700 K
2 35 Gal Rubber maids
1 Air Ionizer / Fan. " I use this to purify the air inside the rubbermaid!" The air stays nice clean and fresh! Also helps with the smell!" 2nd Pic
1 Dual Exhaust Fan. Just to keep everything at a stable temp.

also... Does anyone got a good tool to cut through these dayum rubbermaids and make nice Persis cuts? Will a soldering tool work good? All my edges are jagged due to me not having the right tools.

Yesterday i was out of smoke, So... I desided to go to L.A. and go get some outdoor Blue Cheese! at this danky collective. 480$ for a qp! I had to get it!. Anyways it ended up having a few seeds in it! and now im germinating them! Hopefully 1 or 2 are female so i can have the indoor strain! =] I'm siked! And no the weed i got isnt bunk, It's just outdoor and this collective is closing & everythings on sale! Including Clones! & Mothers I recall seeing. I'll post pics of the nug so you can see.

Heres some pics on my clones so far. I've switched them to 17/7. I'm thinking of doing this for the first week, Just to see how growth goes, Then I'll switch to 18/6 within the 2nd week of veg. I'll let it veg a month out, then Flower the puppys. I'm currently using my flower set up to veg them. 2700k CFL's ect... I'm building my veg rubber maid as we speak with atleast 6 6500 K bulbs I'm yet to pick wattage. , So i can atleast have clones and one or two mothers going. Got any advise? Should i use some small t5's for veg or a few 6500k bulbs? HELP!!!!

Muppetman, my fellow grower. I have to say those are some nice looking clones you have there. They sure will treat you right if you take good care of them. Your set up is awesome so far. I personally don't grow in soil anymore. My first grow was with soil and well lets just say I didnt even get a gram off of one plant. Ya don't laugh, it sucked. ANYWAYS, congrats again on the new clones. You seem to have everything on the up and up. One point of advice. CFLs and T5s are great for vegging plants and rooting clones. I have learned from my own experiences that the plants like a strong light during flowering. If you have the cash I highly advise getting a HID HPS grow light. The smaller wattage HPS bulbs arent terribly expensive. YOu can get a complete turn key 600watt HPS grow light for under 300 dollars on ebay. That's what i did. Just something to think about.

I have started my new perpetual grow, and only after 4 days from germinating I have my first sprout. Blackberry Kush and White Widow. Link is in my sig below.

Awesome man!, Yes I'm growing soil... :confused:Never went hydro before... As for flowering you said you flowered that ak48 with cfls correct? :blsmoke:was that a soil grow or hydro? how many cfls did you use when you flowered? I don't have enough cash atm but I will in a few weeks for my hps. But I'm just wondering just incase cash doesn't come in. Not nailz, but id say go for it. You might want to put it in somthing a little bigger thought, A 400 might get a little too hot if you not running some good fans. If you dont want to ditch the tubs i would say look for a 200watt hps.

Thats what i was thinking but there isn't much of a price difference between the 200 and the 400. It's a 10 dollar diff. I can't ditch the tubs atm due to Mula $ issues. Maybe add a 3rd tub and add a second additional fan to that tub install.?? So far the fan i have installed now keeps the sucker cool! =] Maybe a second additional dual fan install would keep the 400 at a great temp with no problems? Advice?

The 250 would be good for a 2x3 Rubbermaid at 35 Gal.? It outputs 33,000 Lumens by HTG Suppy.

What I've got going in my mind, Is I at least want Dank buds, Not this b.s. some of these collectives provide. I want to use Soil only. How much would the 250 approximately yield... In my 2x3 Rubbermaid? Mind you it's pretty big inside of them!

How often do you water?
Do you use Tap water?
How hard is the fan blowing? On my first grow i had a plant that looked simaler and i adjusted the fan and it started looking better.

Are the leaves starting to curl under?

I water every other day. I use bottle arrowhead water. The fans on low it gets a nice breeze. Yeah the leaves are curling under....

My last harvest was AK-48 grown in Hydro. It was grown only under CFL lights. The lights while did wonderful when the plants were in veg did not do well during flowering COMPARED to a HPS or MH grow light. A 400w or a 600w HPS grow light would allow you to have more dense and compact buds. This is what every grower hopes for. Since I grew the AK-48 under CFLs during Flowering i got as a result "light, whispy, popcorn sized buds." The only exception was the main cola on the biggest plant. The lights were always like 2inches away and were able to provide sufficent light. CFLs are great but they need to be as close as possible to the plant. Otherwise you get what I got.

However HPS or MH lights are able to provide more light and can produce dense compact buds. If you want to grow the stuff you see in High Times use HID grow lights. This is just my experience and opinion.

Basically what im getting at is, you know your grow better than anyone here. If you find a certain light or a certain nute does amazing stuff , USE it. Fuck what people here say.

I just wanted to share my experience here so that it may be of use to people with questions. I know what works for me and my grow and maybe it will work for you.

As for your soil grow, I am sorry I cannot give too much advice in that area. I grew once in soil then switched to hydro and have not grown in soil since. Just one thing is that ive noticed that when your plants curl in like that it usually means the plants are underfed. Just something to think about. I hope this helps.

Thanks man, I'm still deciding between the 250 and 400. I want dence buds, But would it matter anyways between the 250 and 400 since it's limited to such a small space...I'm limited to my rubbermaids. and dont want to create any high temp problems in my grow case. Suggestions? Would I still get some dence nugs since the 250 is confined to such a limited space? It honestly is 10 dollar difference with shipping... help? I'm leaning more to the 400 then anything.
