Pure Blend Pro - Sea of Dark Green

Hi everyone. This is the first thread I've posted (too bad it had to be in the "Plant Problems Forum") so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, I'm using the sea of green method with ebb and flow systems. All of my girls (3 wks into flower and older) are showing the same problems which I have been lead to believe is Nitrogen toxicity. The tops of the plants are dark green and bud development seems to be slow. The tips of the fan leaves also show a little bit of nute burn (I think). Here's a list of the nutes I'm using during the flower period.

Botanicare:
Pure Blend Pro Bloom
Cal-Mag Plus
Hydroplex

After mixing with RO water my ppms are:
600 ppm - 3 & 4 wks.
800 ppm - 5 & 6 wks.
1000 - 1200 ppm the rest of the way
PH is kept at 5.7
Feeds 4 times a day during lights on for 15 min. each time.

Looks more like nitrogen deficiency not toxicity. With N too high your leaves will turn a very very dark green. With an N shortage they will start to yellow and then die off one by one. With the pure blend setup i usually continue their 'transition' dose for much longer than they reccomend to avoid the yellowing too early in flower.. like 2-3 weeks of the transition schedule (1tbs grow, 1tbs bloom)rather than the 1 week they reccomend.

Thanks blahblahblah123. I will try upping the Nitrogen. I just can't stop looking at how dark the tops already are. Is that normal?

Nah that darkness around the main buds is fine, its letting you know it needs phosphorus.. keep giving it the bloom, but also add in the nitrogen for a while, should slow down your foilage loss.

Well I took a few more pics and now I'm leaning towards calcium and magnesium deficiency. I am even seeing this def. in a newly sprouted seed. Sine I used only ph'd RO water to sprout it, I'm guessing that my RO water is extremely low in Calcium. Take a look for yourself and see what you think. Now my only question is how much Cal-Mag should I add? That stuff really ups the ppm in my nutrient solution.

R/O water is indeed very low in calcium and magnesium. I use a teaspoon per gallon (that ups my ppm's to around 150) and helps keep the deficiencies at bay.
