2 things to consider about buying HPS lights

After drooling all over my hydroponics catalog, I noticed a couple of things; first, the "budget" lighting systems (HPS) are more expensive than the "Premium" systems. The budget systems may seem, at first, to cost less but look at the fine print and you'll see that it's a barebones sustem and the tempered glass, flanges, etc are *options*. Second, being a broke-ass, unemployed guy, I need to get the best deal, so I check online, especially fleabay. I can go to my hydro shop and buy a 1,000 W HPS premium system for significantly less than ebay. That was a shocker. Just wanted to share my findings with my fellow growers.

no shit, i started out planning using 1 x 125w cfl and have 1 plant.... ended up with a room with 2 x 400w and 2x 600w designed for 20-30 plants of medium size... and yea.. money flying out the window herre but it defenitly will pay itself back very fast.

so basicly get the best you can get.. it pays itself anyway.
not to mention its alot more fun growing when shit works like it should and gives good results.
