you want to get a pyrythrum based pesticide. the chemical is derived from chrysanthemums and other plants that produce it, so it IS a naturally occuring chemical. it wont mess up your buds, and those critters are DONE for. depending on where your tent is, stay away from the area for 8 hours when you do it, and close it off from the rest of the house, or whatever. open a window if you can.

If THAT doesnt sound like something you can do where you are growing, if you have enough hieght, put a delicious plant for them to flock to at the TOP of your tent, they will always move to the highest point of vegetation. if your plants are big enough, notice that they dont really do anything to the bottom halves. its all about the top buds and those stupid webs they weave. put a [plant up high to lure them up there, it will help alot. but the pyrythrum bomb (any garden store will have them)will take out any critter yo dont want there. :)

This is all silly, in fact mites will be wherever on your plant they find the best temperatures, and lush fan leaves. They like it at the upper end of growing temps. They also generally stay away from the buds, and highly resinated buds are hard to suckle with their mouthparts. When you do see webs ob the tops of buds though, thats not a mite problem, thats an infestation! I've never had anything like that myself, but I've been duking it out with mites like most growers on and off for quite awhile.

After the first mite incident most intelligent people will be using azzamax and pyrethrin dips on every grow just because it's very, very, VERY hard to eliminate them long term. They just get reintroduced so easily, more so in the summer time.

I herd that if you got pure tobacco and put it in 1 gal. Of water and let it sit for o r night , then sprayed it on your plant it would kill any bugs. But dont quote me on it.

ive heard the same thing, it was in the grow bible, but it says they dont recomend it cuz its poisonous to the plant, ive been having troubles w/spider mites, they seemed to start at the bottom of my plants & work thier way up, if they can, i use neem oil spray, thats what the grow bible says, the only other bugs ive seen is the irritating little nats, ive heard white sand two inches deep will smother them, kinda out of $ right now, will try white sand when i can, but i will try azzamax for sure, but the neen oil spray seams to be working, it got rid of them over night, it say to spray every 6 - 7 days to make sure you get the eggs that are hatching, gross, i dont even know how they can get into my grow room?????
