Dry and cure unattended?

I have a plant that is ready to harvest, well a little overdue. Problem is I am going out of town in 5 days and can't take care of things for another 5 days. Question is... Pick trim and dry tonight and for the next 4 days then put them in jars unattended for 5 days or wait till the day before I leave cut trim and dry for the the next days unattained?

Thanks for any advice.

If I were you, I would hang those babies for 4 days..trim them up real good, then put them in jars with slits cut in the top.

Seems like a happy medium.

Bet they'd be pretty nice when you got home.

Either that or harvest right before I leave and hang them for 5 days?

hang as long as you can/need to, then put them in a paper bag in a cool dark spot, it will help wick away moisture since you wont be around to burp the jars. It's not ideal but it should work.

that could work, but your probally gonna have to re-moisturize them, which really isnt a big deal, just put a few orange peels or lettuce or something like that in with them in the jar for a while(how long depends on how dry the nugs are, probally not very long though, maybe a day or so.).
