Anyone ever seen one of these little critters before?

I found this little critter and three of his friends in my closet chowing down on my little monkeys a little while back.

Just curious if anyone has had a previous run in with them?

looks like a stink bug,

thats not a stink bug,stink bugs are flater than the 1 in the pic,and the color is off,the ones were im from dont look like that at all,the ones Iv seen also resemble a leaf good luck peace and grow on

I think it's called a vine weevil.

Its a bole weevil, we've got them here b/c of cotton and they are like the rest of the sap sucking bugs that feed on plants....our enemies! KILL KILL KILL!

Ive heard these little bastards called Root weavles. They eat the roots is what Ive learned from a buddy with them.
