Today is day 46 of flowering. So yeah they are getting close. I got a 60 x / 100 x handheld microscope thing from radio shack. Had a hard time seeing anything through it but the trics I saw were pretty clear. I have a new magnifying glass set coming. Hopefully that will be clearer.

I am prepared to let them flower for as long as they take; so 9 10 weeks whatever. I just wanna get some frosty dank shit and lots of it. I am gonna start reading up on trimming and stuff again. I guess just trim off the leaves off the buds and collect them. Hang the buds up for a week or two and then start a 2-6 week curing process? Open jars and stuff once daily and let nugs air out. Let castings dry for 2 weeks, freeze them and then make some bubble hash?

Anyways I also got some new seeds coming, Ice, Crystal and White Widow all feminized. I cant wait to start my next grow. Cant wait for this one to be done either. 10-20 more days..

Sounds good. I just learned how to sex my seedlings at an early stage:) Growing for years and learning something new every day. Life is good.

By the way they have started putting flowers on flowers and phattening up some now.. I was just a tad impatient.. Wed will be week 7; so they should phatten up til the end right?

When do I chop with the trichromes at 40% milky heads? Or what are your rules of thumbs for chopping? If I can wait and they will keep adding weight I will take them to 9 weeks or so..

Not at the moment. I'm sure the info must be out there. It was to obvious once it was showed to me that I couldn't believe that I hadn't known this before.:shock: I was told last year by a friend that they would pre-sex the plants started from seed before final planting outside. I asked that he show me this year and felt stupid when he showed me what looked like almost obvious sex indications where you would expect them to be:dunce:
Now, I am waiting for signs of sex to disappear for awhile (this is what I was told happens), and this would explain why I might have missed it all these years. Or that in the past I just start seeds grow them till they show and keep the girls and clone them for some time and then start the process over at some point.

To determine the sex of the plant, it needs to be six true nodes tall. Get a good magnified piece and count up from the bottom to the fifth true node. Look carefully behind the “^” (I forget what it is called) you should see at some point what looks like a male or female part. I see it on the 5th and 6th nodes of one of my plants. It’s raining outside now or I’d get a better picture of the two. I’ll include the one I have.

i just finish week 3 but im glad to be this far


dude pls tell me you snaged a lil piece off a plant and smoked it!


u can just toss it in the oven at 200 f or below until crispy


each strain will be ready at different times, i think they say to chop when 10% - 20% of trics are amber

more amber = more couchlock

less amber more upetty high

longer you lett them flower the better it gets


im always choppin mine too early but i just can never seem to get ahead of supply


rotate the strains you smoke to avoid tollerance biuld up


my next project is to grow black domina and alternate between that and JTR to try to battle my tolerence issues


imagine when weed becomes legal all the trading people could do try all different stuff without fear of going to the gulag

Once about 7 days ago when I was jonesen I tried to smoke a small bud off the bottom of a small plant. I didnt like the taste or how it burned ect so I was like f that. I just left it on top the hid for like 3 hours. I wanna taste that cured bubblegum and skunk and Big cheese and afghan pure. I am gonna keep that afghan pure for myself. There arent alot of flowers but the ones it has are sick. I have a Bubbleiscous that is purple and another one that has a kings top on it and that one is almost WHITE. Those two might be staying in my stash too. The rest for friends and family. I have 4 out of 16 plants that have some milkyness starting in the trics. Most of the plants are clear still. I didnt start flushing yet but thinking about it soon! I was gonna go through a full "ripen" nute stage but everything is going so fast now. I just started adding back tons of Pure RO water. Got the PPMS down to 400s. The ripen stage was just the agg bloom heavily diluted. I am at agg bloom and just diluting it instead of casting out all that water. next I will flush with just RO water...

So today is day 54 and man is life good ! A few more days and they should be ready a couple might take 10 days or so.. I started flushing with pure RO water. I put H202 35% in after running out for 2.5 weeks and boy did they drink a TON today... I put 6 ml into .5 gal RO water into 34 gal and after two feeding it was at 28-30 gal. Cant wait to see em tomarrow.

its prolly a good idea to look closly at the inside of your largest buds growing to make sure you dont have any bud rot


it can catch you by surprise and destroy a crop within a week or 2.


ive had to chop 1 or 2 grows early because of bud rott

I dont even know what bud rot looks like

I started flushing today my humidity is like 36% constantly should I still be worried?

I added back 32 gal into my res with 60 ml of h202 and about 10 ml total of ph adjusters to get to 5.6 ppms were at 08. They drank a ton at the next feeding like 2 gallons and the ppm went from 08 to 117. Ph 6.02

i think they say 40 % humidity and below is good. but if its like 46% - 56% and you have reall thick colas, the insides of them could be rotting from the inside out. the budrot starts off looking like almost like cob web cluster very thin like moldy hair type mold then it will start turnign the bud into wet mush.


but you should be ok. when i had it i had those huge monster colas like as fat as a 2 liter coke bottle and on top of that my humidity was over 40%

Day 59 and counting they are looking delicous I think I am gonna pull the afghan pure early next week and then some others end of next week. Some just arnt even close though and I will let them go up to 10/12 weeks. My seeds arrived so I am stoked to start my next garden soon. :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

FUCK Dewpoints in the 70s HUMIDITY is shooting through the roof; temps in the 90s (outside). Scrubber isnt effective and I am worried about the levels 55% now.. 45% two days ago 35% 2 days before that and the heat/humidity wave is gonna last through the week.

Damn humidity was at 70% this morning in the flowering room. The dehumidifier caused the circuit to trip at 6AM when the lights popped on. I guess I wont be able to put another light that I planned on putting in there on that circuit. I have the Dehumidifier outside the room for now. I will run an entension cord asap.
