DIY Hydro setups?

Hey guys... so I have been searching through a ton of threads, and I am trying to figure out what I am going to build. I did as much searching through the DIY forum as I could and found a couple cool things, but can we maybe fill this thread with ideas or links to the homemade hydro or aero setups that everyone has made so myself and other noobs can look and see what we want to build?

I am a week into flowering my first grow... my brother gave me 5 clones and I put them in soil and vegged them for like 2 months while I got my room set up and did some research. Now I have 6 clones in my daisy cloner and am trying to figure out what to do with them next... I don't want to do soil again.

Please put in here instructions on some DIY setups or links to your own thread? I'd really appreciate it so I can focus more on the deciding and building than on the searching.

try this unit or if you want fewer plants use the veg unit stinky shows it works great. Modified my dwc unit to aero and will never go back. Good luck

Which areo setup did you modify it to?

I used a 6" pvc tube system dwc style but i used stinky's idea and put spray heads into it instead of using aerated standing water which took a lot to fill 5ea 4 1/2 ' tubes. just follow the previous link provided there is alot of great info. Also i started using liquid karma in my nutes and it does make a big difference. Good luck

here is a unit that looks like mine https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/228041-my-homemade-aero-6-pipe.html I just used a thru hul drains in mine approx 1" in size. Drilled 3" holes and used 3" net pots with hydroton to put rooted clones in. now have a 40 gal res for nutes. Pump is on timer like stinky's one on four off. works great. Will post some bud porn later.

I just built one today for my mother plants and seedlings "DIY". I am also going to be setting up a 4x8 flood table with 2 400 watters for the intro of my snowryder grow , all going to be ebb and flow. Here's the link check it out:

I like growing in Hydroton because you can re-use it over and over again if treated properly. I use 5L and 20L pots with air stones in all pots and the reservoir because the roots always grow through into the water so it needs to be thoroughly aerated. I experimented with DWC last grow which worked well. The orchid pots require a little adjustment to allow the larger roots to grow through.
