Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Im loving the banter on this thread, ( to me to you, to me to you, to me to you ) funny as fuck...lol
i went all out at beginning and grew ak x diesel the smell was more than carbon filter could manage but with ozone generator as well there was no smell and im in an apartment and had to have windows shut all winter as it was too cold out.Dude,
Those carbon filters help a great deal.. But, they will not completely remove the smell.
Believe me, I know.
Best thing to do is to start out with a low odor strain like I suggested.
I have a simular set-up using Co2 in a sealed tent....This is what I'm working with...I have a 409 windtunnel 6 in-line fan with a odor-sok, (i know, i know...bullshit filter, didnt know until I read this thread! thanks closetgrower) I am about to go purchase either a active air carbon filter or a can 33 or 50 or 66..which one you reccomend??) on the intake side...now I thought and read that the filter was supposed to go on the intake side of the fan...<pulling air through the filter then out the fan/ducting/tent to room or attic.. but that guy above and you says to push it through the filter??carbon filters do work if your intake is passive and your exaust is active and the exaust exists thought the carbon filter..
???How do you do that??( passive intake with a backdraft blocker/damper) and 27c is what is degrees? They work very well. If you have a sealed room. If you have an intake that turns off when your outtake is out smelly odors will find there way out of the room. I run my filter with a fan 24/7 with a speed control. I have a passive air intake. I have a 20ilb co2 tank and i turn my out-take on and off for 6 hours. That of course is in the middle of the night. 12am to 6am. Since my room is sealed and i dont have an intake, the smell wont leak out and my outake with slowly push air threw the filter due to pressure.
I bought ona and put it in trays hiden arround my house and smeard on the inside of my outtake vent. You cant smell anything no matter what cycle.
I run Purple kush and that is a stinky strain. You cant smell it untill your in the room. Then its like whoa!
You should invest in a charcoal/carbon filter no matter what. Ona works for small shows
Ditch the intake and get a passive intake with a back draft blocker. so no co2 will leak out.
Make sure you run your filter 24/7 tho. I see alot of rooms with two of them in there. One for when the main outtake shuts off. And one for when the main one shuts off to control the smell in the room. Alot of people have two smaller ones. One that runs 24/7 with co2 stops and one on a thermistat/timer for co2.
Your gonna want to let the heat build up for 5 minutes then pump your co2. Temps are best at 27 for fastest co2 constumption.
dude, why are you risking your future trying to grow a lil plant? are you growing on campus? i would think if you could afford collage, you should be able to afford a bag of good smoke, cuz thats about allyour gonna end up with if you only grow 1 (small) plant. now i aint nothing but a 9 grade drop-out and even i have enough sense to know thats a pretty huge risk your taking for a little (and i mean little) weed. maybe a short course in common sense is in order...just for the record, im damn near 60 yr old and i fucked off my chances of a higer ed. to go to viet nam, so maybe im (was) the dumb ass . just dont blow your future trying to be cool (like growing something that will most likely ruin your chances of a successful carreer,life.....)Hey. I am weighting my decision to grow a plant in my closet very carefully. It can get me kicked out of college.
All i want to do is smoke some marijuana to relieve of my stress.
Is the lowryder #1 feminized a smelly plant? I picked it because its short, flowers fast and easy to grow. But does it smell?
