Hey CG,

I was reading up on your dwc cloner. I noticed you have 8 clones in a single 5gal bucket. How long can you leave it in that bucket before the roots start to get tangled with the others? I was planning on purchasing a 35gal rubbermaid bucket to make veg about 7 clones. But after seeing your cloner. I was thinking maybe 5 clones each in 2 5gal buckets. That will be 10 clones all together and also vegging it in there also. Do you think that will for out?

Good afternoon dk0515,

The answer would be about 2-4 weeks(depending on strain) after they root, which usually takes 5-7 days depending on environment.

And I believe your idea will work out fine and dandy :)

Thank you.

Yes, I think it will be cool to see the difference in the growth rate, and bud formation running air pots next to the buckets.

The air pots will be juiced up with only Jacks Classic Ferts, while the Buckets will be on the "Lucas" once again.

Since I have been running the 2 part Lucas On the buckets(current grow), the buds are 50% bigger than when I ran the Fox Farm Organic Nutes full line.

Interesting, but it does not surprise me.

Thought Id post some rather cool images of how things are looking this morning at CG's Pad :)

24 days in.. and everything is dialed in, and running like a Swiss Watch. :)

The vegged plants have adapted to their new setup, and growing quite nicely with minimal shock.

The Air pots are quite interesting.

Lets keep an eye on em eh?

CO2 questions CG! So I plan to add a little fuel to the fire next grow a la CO2. Where does that clear tube that comes off your CO2 regulator go? I'm assuming that's where the CO2 heads, but how is it dispersed? At first I thought it was coming out of that glass thing and the fan was blasting it across the room. But that's just a gauge... Does that clear tube split and give some CO2 to each plant? Or does it go up above all the plants and just dump it down on them since CO2 weighs more than air?

Good Mornin' Colorado :)

The clear tube hooks up to the flowmeter and goes up the wall to the ceiling, and all the way across the length of the room.

When my Co2 controller senses that its under1300 ppm, it turns the regulator on automatically and feeds Co2 to my plants until it reaches a 1500 ppm limit, then shuts off on its own... Im not into timers, not accurate at all.

The clear hose has a bunch of microscopic holes in it that disperses the Co2 evenly and drops the Co2 over my plants.

I have a small oscillating fan on the floor thats always on a high setting when the lights are on.

I have to have this fan running since Co2 is heavier than air, it swirls the gas around from the floor.

Then, I have another bigger oscillating fan that turbulates the co2 throughout the room, and mostly under the leaves so that the somata gets plenty of the gas, which in turn gives me the yields Im after.

Its a GAS!! :)

Nice! That's kind of how I pictured it working but needed clarification. Looking back would you do the same CO2 setup you've got or would you do anything differently? I need to decide which regulator, etc I'm getting. I've dedicated today's reading to CO2 specific stuff. Any tips or insight would definitely be taken into consideration!

Also you said no timers, does this mean you CO2 when the lights are off too? Or does the regulator know not to do it then?

No, I like the way i have it setup now.

My room is now sealed up and I do not vent at all.

Sealed room is a great way to go, not only does it keep in the Co2, it virtually eliminates the smell of flowering..An added bonus! :)

My Hydrofarms dehumidifier takes care of the high humidity issues.

The Co2 Controller operates on a digital timer, so its does turn off when its lights out :)

The cost to fill up the tank is a 20 dollar bill, and it last about a month.

Get into it Bro, It'll make your Buds explode with growth, and density.

I got over 39 oz's from 9 plants using the Gas and bubblers.. Thats nothing to laugh it. :)
