Clear trichomes --> ?

Hi,

Recently (2 days ago) I dropped something on my plant by accident and broke off a branch.. It was 7 weeks in flowering and so I just made a clean cut and cut the branch off (irreversible damage), and it's hanging and drying at the moment.

I took a small leaf off of it and looks like it has mostly clear, some cloudy trichomes.. Should I even try to smoke this? Or is it just useless?

nah it will have a bit of strength in it, whats the plants strain because a heavy indica would finish at 8-10 weeks anyway and although that branch wont be as good smoke as a fully matured bud, after properly curing and drying it will still be alright, better than hash i should imagine.

it should still get you a buzz, gonna be more heady/stoney than knockout... but definately keep it, you spent a lot of time on it!

It's an Afghan, and it was going all so well until I had to replace my bulb to a Hortilux and dropped the older bulb on it coz it was so hot

actually, 86 my last comment haha. Took a look at your journal, definately not what i was thinking for 7 weeks in. Prob not worth keeping to smoke because it's still all pistils and there isn't as much bud formation as i would have imagined. Your plant should still be ok without the branch, but keeping the branch and trying to smoke it probably won't do anything for you.

Yea that pic is a little bit outdated. It's been a week since then and the buds have packed quite a bit.. I'll put some pics on tonight then. Anyways, I'm glad to hear that branch will do SOMETHING lol Thanks a lot for all the help guys!

I can only; “imagine” that if you have ever smoked hash it was among the lowest quality ever made and it did not impress you much but you still believed it was an accurate representation of the quality of good/most hash, so now you read about immature bud and figure it can’t be any worse than hash and likely better, or at least so you would; “imagine,” That or you just really do not have any clue at all and all you did was; “imagine.”

well no sweetheart hash is not pure trichs , it will be if you lived in a place such as the mountins of afghanistan where weed grows wild and they can afford to put their finest mature bud into hash but i liv in england and even the highest quality hash i can find (charis) is still not as good as bud, it just passes through so many hands so in england the hash is a bit unclean at best, dirt bar or pooby at worst. Yes hash would be pure trichs if people did use pure mature bud , not top leaf , but its not made out of bud is it, thats why hash is cheaper, do the math!

and the phrase 'i should imagine' is just a phrase, thats just semantics and since this website is for everyone in the world i don't quite see why you hav decided to use that colloquialism as a method of attacking me.

You suffer from reading comprehension problems.

I never said hash is; “pure trichomes.” Where in the wide, wide world of sports you came up with me supposedly having had said that I will never be able to guess.

I said; “Basically hash is collected trichomes.” That is what hash is, collected trichomes that have been knocked off of plant matter and are combined with some small amount of plant matter that passes through the hash-making process along with the knocked off trichome heads. The amount of plant matter will vary depending on what system of making hash is used and the skill and the diligence of the person making the hash.

As for; “i should imagine” just being; “a phrase,” well I fully understand that but since you did use the word “imagine” and your premise could only have come from the imagination of someone living in a wolkenkuckucksheim I could not help but use it to point out the irony found in your choice of phraseology.

Oh, and your; "simple logic" totally failed you. In fact it was not actually logic since it totally relied on assumption and personal beliefs rather than facts for its basis.

like i said before, i really dont care and you might think havin 3,148 posts makes you cool and that you hav status, but i think its a lack of friends and achievments in your life that keeps drawing you back to RIU , to give some meaning to the infertile wastland of your life. so you may argue what you wish and even be right but it really doesnt mean anything, does it
