ALL feminized seeds are produced using hermie genetics. I mean think about it logically, theres no other way to do it lol.

For best results, take the pollen of a plant thats turned hermie, and introduce it to a clone of the plant that hasnt.
All feminized seeds have a higher risk of turning hermie because of this, theres nothing you can do about that. A much better way to get a room full of pussy is cloning >.>

What about that deal where you let a female flower past when she should have been harvested, after a while she throws out bananas and you use that pollen to create feminized seeds? That method is touted by plenty of websites as a way to do it without chemicals.

this is a female that is carrying hermy traits. it's in the genetics of the plant. they claim this because they are the ones selling them. hermy plants make hermy plants. it's in their genes.

I had a whole room of PK go hermie due to the piece of shit 40amp light timer that failed to go off. Now Out of 150 there was about 5 plants that did not go hermie what so ever. So your saying if i took those 5 plants and kept growing them. Gave them the maleflower chem and took the male flowers off "just like in your thread" brushed them on a fresh PK Clones 3 weeks in. Those seeds would be Fem? My cuzin took the seeds from the ones that didnt hermie and those are showing Female Preflowers and no males. There three months old now and about a foot tall lol in the window. Will those hermie when grown out? WHats that chemical?

From what I understand if you have a male pollinate a female the seeds will be 50/50 chance male/female. If you pollinate a female with pollen from a hermie you will get 50/50 hermie / female from those seeds.

I just harvested from a crop like this. I only plant from bagseed and came across these seeds that came from some nice buds but heavily seeded. I was suspect from the beginning but had no other seeds so I decided to put it to to the test. I started forty seeds and wouldn't you guess 100% female. Now I am thinking something must be up so I just hawkeye my plants everytime I can searching for those balls showing me the male flowers. Sure enough four weeks into flowering there he is the first herm. It ended up being almost 50/50 herm / female. I just grow to smoke so I moved the herms I little ways away and picked off the male flowers before they could mature. I know this is extreme but this was my last chance for a decent harvest And I didn't want to kill any of my plants. I did this til about four weeks til harvest then gave up. I think what I did helped out a lot because not all the plants we seeded and I got about 10 oz of nice herb. In the end I would rather have a male show me early then a hermie showing me four weeks into flowering after they have already been out planted.

So what is being said here is that it isn't possible to hermie a marijuana female unless her genetics are impure? And that means you can buy clean genetic females with no chance of turning hermie? Where can I get some feminized seeds with 0% chance to hermie?

good question. i think a lot of todays breeders don't use "solid" females to get their male pollen. i think they are cheating and using hermies. i see people getting hermies who have planted femmed seeds. i am guilty of buying femmed seeds. quite a few this year actually. i hope i don't regret it.
