Do marijuana plants prefer plants that are more tall than wide or the other way around? I would imagine they like tall better because the main tap root or whatever can grow bigger and deeper
They don't care, it is up to you to either put them in a pot that accommodates the way THEY want to grow or train them to grow the way YOU want them to
Does 12/12 from seed get plants to start flowering sooner or does it just make them smaller for when the do start flowering? I read it can still take a couple weeks before they start flowering from 12/12, so I wondered how often a marijuana plant would show sex in regular veg before it would have in 12/12 from seed
Just keeps the plant smaller, it will not flower until it is mature (3 to 5 weeks depending)
PS: How late is too late to transplant? How late into flowering can you transplant without too many worries? Would it be differen't when using superoots air pots?
Once you switch to 12/12 the hormones in the growth process change and the plant stops (or seriously slows down) root production and switches to flower (bud) production, transplanting is a waste of time once you have flipped the lights
