PC FAN QUESTION? +rep for help

i just got a pack of 24 to48 vollt pc fans.

but most the power packs i see are 12 volts.

do they make 24 or 48 volt power plugs ?

or can i double up with the plugs on one fan?

thanks for any help!

Do what I plan on doing, use a PC power supply (PSU). There are all sorts of tutorials on the web on testing/cheating out PSU's. If I recall and don't quote me you cheat the green and black plugs on the 24 pin connector to start the PSU. Google it you will fin what you need.

You can find inexpensive PSU's on tigerdirect.com or newegg.com. I got lucky I bought a new PC case that came with a PSU that I didn't need.

So... Dude when it comes to fans volts basically means speed... so if you run a 24 volt fan @ 12 volts it will be running at half speed=very quiet. So giver man and good luck:)
