We destroyed him, just like the cooks are destroying Obama now, and how the cooks destroyed Clinton before that.

Only difference, in 2004ish the news realized they needed to fill up a lot of hours on the 24 hour news cycle after 9/11 and the war, so it became political garbage nonstop, and they made bank.

So now instead of reporting anything near the truth and doing their jobs as journalists to come up with real stories, they misquote, cut and paste out of context, and basically burn everyone they can.

I feel bad for Bush. And with how much lies, and half truths (that are taken completely out of context) about well every aspect of what is happening in politics regarding Obama, I would be willing to bet that it was the same for Bush.

I actually listened to Obama's speeches, he promised a whole lot of things and then went and did the opposite for the mass majority of it, nothing to do with the media.

Obama is the media's golden boy. Bush was demonized the minute he showed up on the campaign trail. He got started on the wrong foot because of the whole Florida hanging chad debaucle. Obama doesn't seem to get criticized for many of the same things Bush did and got criticized for. The major media outlets are a joke!

You know, that 'story' is just a press release promo for the guy's book (and the book from his wife, too). My wife used to work in the entertainment industry, and this stuff happens all the time.

Not sayin' Bush is good or bad, just that right now he's lookin' to turn a buck.

In what reality is working on 255 issues, compromising or getting it his way on 144 issues, while not keeping 19 and being stalled out (hmm wonder why?) on 83 issues, constitute "Doing the opposite on a mass majority"?


I think you just don't like him because he is not on your team, and you are just going to bash him regardless of what he does and how it works.

And that is the gist of what we did to Bush. We were democratic tools, just like you are a republican tool.

Is wrong, and took you to a site that has actually been tracking every promise he made on the campaign trail you watched so closely. Or are you saying that they are wrong? If so you seem to know everything, so point them out man, dish, we all want to share in this incredible insight you posses!

Uhhhh, cooks?? Are you sure you didn't mean Kooks. This Idea of re-inventing Bush, sorta like putting lipstick on the proverbial Pig, I'd say. Bush was/is still a piece of crap, and trying to re-invent him is futile. Those that can see will know him, and he smells to high heaven. Bush is the spoiled son of a billionaire. he was given everything by his father and fucked it up, just like he fucked this country up. He Will go down in history as one of the worst, if not the worst president ever.

You may be correct. Time will tell. I don't know the guy personally so I can't tell you what he smells like. :lol: I'm guessing he smells like aqua velva and blow. :shock:

I don't know he redeemed himself to me big time when he sucked up his pride and did the bank and auto bail outs. Without those we were in the shitter.

And knowing now how much misquoting and out of context use of quotes that are being used against Obama, it would be very easy for us to fall for it (much like people are today that are anti Obama). If you look at the things like Michael Moore, we know that what he is saying is not truth at this point right?

Add to that all the shit talking CNN, MSNBC, ect put onto him, and gaffs here and there that were manipulated to make him look silly, evil, and stupid all at the same time and repeat over and over again for about 6 years, and boom you have your evil dictator.

Oh and all those bills and things, all the pushing through bills late night, changing hundreds of pages without anyone reading them before they voted, ect is verbatum what the republicans were saying about the healthcare bill. And all of that was bullshit too.


So instead of going through every bit of garbage that was flung at Bush and figuring out where the lies started and trying to figure out the truth of what the situation was, I am going to just give the guy the benefit of a doubt, because in the end he got over his pride and saved the economy from a complete meltdown.

i can't get the image of bush's face out of my head, when he was in front of those school kids when 9/11 happened. he had no idea what to do! he was like a deer frozen in the headlights!!!
