but they can infared the outside of your house and look for large amount of
heat escaping through any vents or anything
(like ventilation out of a hot grow room)
but this is unlikely they dont run around checking ppls houses lol if you are supsicious then maybe

In the area i live alot of ppl have been arrested but there houses were full of cannabis we also have allot of helicopters flying around
whats best way to not be seen?

Ya just grow enuff to smoke that will save u lots of cash and save you from getting burned by lowlifes that sell brown weed for the price a green. Any extra is just addin a risk. I would say 1000 watts HID should be plenty and wont get u busted . But Id only use for 12/12 that way 1000 watt would run the same as a 5 100 watt light bulbs left on all day. The very 1st thing you need to do is buy some 13 watt cfls and replace those energy burning regular bulbs,.

A well insulated home will block all of the heat signature. All that will show is surface temps. They cannot see into your home with FLIR period the end. The only way they will bust you inside using it is if you vent your hot air outside or if you have an un-insulated roof and you are growing in the attic and even then if the heat is dispersed you should be ok. If FLIR worked like all the paranoid growers think it does we would all be busted.

It can be seen but is very unlikely!
Grow in a bedroom thats inside of a properly insulated home with proper cooling and have your light on during daytime hours and everything will be fine.
You can safely use 2 1000 watt HID lamps per room without attracting any attention.
Its really not that clear to them if you do what I have suggested. At the very least get a 600 watt HPS . Its more bang for your buck and keep the temperature under control. Not because you are worried about the police but because its good for your plants and buds. Marijuana stops growing at temperatures greater than 85F and there is nothing suspicious about a house cooled to 75-77F. If you are so paranoid maybe your better off buying your bud from someone. Either way good luck!

Cops need a search warrant to even look inside your house. Cops also need good evidence to convince a judge to give them a search warrant.
Don't give them that evidence and you're safe.
Keep it to yourself, watch what you throw in the trash (y'know, don't be throwing out pot leaves and 30 packets of clonex gel, compost your shit, don't look suspicious), use fluorescent lights if you're paranoid about heat signatures, set up some activated carbon filtration for smell. Running your light cycles at night instead of during the day lowers electricity suspicion (electricity premiums drop during the night).
You can make your grow room a castle with moat and cavalry if you want, just takes effort, caution, and sometimes a bit of cash.

A 400w hps should be safe enough m8. Thats what I use in my grow tent, and like where u live its the same here, helicopters out all the time n people being busted. Up here they have helicopters going out solely for the purpose of spotting growers as its getting more popular as the solid is shit, but as the big man said "dont get gready, dont get caught". A 400W HPS doesnt give off a significant difference in heat to a boiler in the house and usualy they wont start looking till they have reason to so dont tell anybody and do business away fae the door and all should be good.

True!.. But keep in mind some of our countries laws are shit and dont work like that. Like here in Britain, our laws in Scotland are different to down the road in England. Polis hear dont need good evidence to get a warrant from a judge, here they just go to Procurator Fiscal office for a warrant. I was once busted with a warrant an all 2 days after a mallitious fonecall by some scumbag. No evidence, no crime but it aint worth the hassle. The people who always tell u your just parranoid are the ones that just dont get it. We are breaking the law(however f*$*ed up), at the risk of a sentence and it does make our hobby and passion that bit more exciting but a bit of parranoia doesnt go wrong if it keeps u on your toes and sensible about your set up.
