It can cause slower growth during veg, but would be great for flowering

I think its actually bad for the temps and humidity to go higher in the dark rather then in the light. Night time is the right time for cooler less humid conditions, at least I think so, You should def try and get some ventilation in there regardless.

If possible add a clear/opaque humidity dome- just a cheap storage tote. I use a spray bottle with < 100ppm water to create the humidity . Once these fill in the dome won't be needed

I've grown in the Desert for years I love when I see my humidity at 30% it means I don't have to worry about powdery mildew. My yields and quality aren't affected by it, don't trip you'll be fine.

This may not be true but for me if I set my dehumi on 30% for a week 2 weeks etc the leaves.always feel dry on the plants. I have it set at 50 now ams the leaves feel damp. Also another you could try in a small are is like a cup w water in ur tent or spray a spray bottle in it every so often so help w humidity

I wouldn't worry but you could always throw a pan of water or something next to it and it will raise the humidity.

Your plants will be fine mate. Recently Mine can get as low as 30% humidity in veg and I'm not seeing no problems arise. pending what light you veg under you can always foliar feed or mist the grow area that will raise humidity or a large open face bowl or container full of water will also help.

This thread was helpful. Just saying. Now I see if I want to get get the best results, higher humidity during veg is best. Lower is best for flowering. Makes sense. Anyways thanks.

Yes ideally a perfect veg would have a high % of say 60s max,but there is times when you can try n try n try to raise humidity and get nowhere so you deal with what you've got and in your case 30% rh will not give you a "bad plant" ,just not as good as a higher rh veg'd one..GL

I know this is an old post but still comes up on search engine so thought I would add for someone.may help.I grow in winter in MI.Temp in tent 70 degrees-75 degrees @ night 63 degrees, humidity 25%-32% absolutely no stunted growth at all,nor any problems.Just understand a little more water needed. no reason to go crazy.Using organic soil 60% fox farm to 40% sohum never get nutrient burn because of more water intake through roots, works great in late flowering and brings out strain traits for Kush really well. All things will never be equal for comparing one style of grow to another. If everything else I do is based on what I read when growing at 70% humidity then it will not turn out well but if everything else I do is based on growing in 30% humidity them my results will be just fine and so will yours.plants are grown all over the world in different climates. There is no only one climate for good results.Know your strain. There are so many misleading things stated when blanket statements are made.Like the Marines say adapt and overcome.Oh by the way forearm size tops in 30% humility, please don't tell me it will not work.No bug problems and no mold problems. Not for everyone. I know, but for me just fine.

Sometimes I forget that this site has some of the worlds biggest dicks swingin along with grow gods that know absolutely everything about everything even about growing. Kind of funny how this site has changed over the last few or 5 years.
