Yea, that was hilarious huh?

Ill bet he thought i was a complete newbie.

He needed to read some of the past posts to understand whats going on.

No biggie.. I went along with it, as you can see.. Hahahaha!

Yea, The one and only rooted NL5 is doing ok under the Big Light :)

And yes, indeedy, she is on Jacks Bloom Booster

There will be a freakin Donkey Dick Cola on her after next month...Peters/Jacks has never let me down.

Its budding faster than all of the other plants.. go figure!!!

I cant wait to have a NL5 and a GS planted in soil using the Jacks Dynamic Duo!

http://www.jacksclassic.com/dynamic_duo.html

It will wake up this forum with the results brah.

If the plants look better than the hydro.. then you know what Im gonna do..

I doubt they will.. But there's always a possibility.

The temps have been around 90 degrees in my room, and the co2 is staying nice and stable at 1500.

With this perfected sealed off environment, the buds will be much bigger than last time.

The humidity levels have dropped as low as 53%, which is ideal for the ambient temps Im running.

No more moisture on the walls, none of that moldy wetness.

I Should of bought a dehumidifier a long time ago.

Ive been keeping a close eye on da roots.

No signs of root rot or disease, and looking extremely white, and healthy.

I think the bleach has helped immensely.

Aight Dawg.. Im gonna get my :joint: rolled up.. Later :)

Good morning spl1 :)

Folks, here's the man who gave me the bleach tip, WORKS GREAT BRO!

I owe you one. :hump:

I may send you some GS beans someday for the unheard of root saver... if you like.

My roots look superb! :-o

Ive had my friends in disbelief, but I think I made believers out of them.

Iam doing a bucket change on Monday, and I will include the 8 drops per gallon of clorox.

Anyways, Thanks again for the replies, and yes I received em all.

Please come back and visit CG's corner real soon.

Your friend CG :)

You've inspired me to give bleach a try. I was going to do H202 but have been too lazy to get the right concentration yet. However, this bleach idea is equally as effective at root cleaning and far simpler to get. Count me in!

Hello Colorado,

It works fine for me, and the member who told me about it, and Im sure many others.

But, there is a disclaimer.

I dont wanna be blamed for any plants death, or ruining a crop, so be "extremely" careful.

I would not use bleach with organic nutes.

I know the h202(hydrogen peroxide) killed off a plant I grew with organics.

And Im pretty sure bleach would do the same thing.

So, If your running a chemical nute, I would say go for it.

If your an organic grower, I would pass.

Best of luck to you :)

Good luck :)

Well, my house plant experiment seems to be doing ok so far.

I added 16 drops of bleach to the 2 gallon container, and topped off the water.

The pictures Im adding will tell you the rest ;-)

What's up bro? The house plant seems to be doing it's thing and I like the tip you gave on the use of bleach. I may have to give it a try sometime when my plants are healthy lol. I'm wondering if you can use any brand of bleach or does it have to be Clorox? On another note I may be switching to the Lucas method within a day or two. I might as well give a shot and see what happens.

So what have you got going on today my man? It's been raining around here for about a day and a half so I guess I'll just be hanging out inside:wall:. I might go out to the garage and do some much needed cleaning. I got cabin fever like you wouldn't believe. After being cooped up in the house all winter I'm wanting some sun.

Aight man I'll check ya later.

Peace.:eyesmoke:

Hello Mr. Sixstring.

Glad to see ya peeking in on the ladies.

I use 8 drops of clorox bleach per gallon at every bucket change.

If your running organics, I dont think it'll workout.

If your on the chemical side of things, go for it! :)

Just got done changing out 4 of my buckets, and ran out of GH Bloom for the last 2.

Gotta run down to the hydro store when they open.

Your plants are simply beautiful.

A definite Greenthumb.

Come back soon my friend, CG :)

yeah you sure dont want that hangin over your head. which i will if they die lmao
Oh Ohhhh.. LOL!

This is the reason I wait to tell people about my experiments, and procedures.

I usually wait until i see that it works on my plants.

I have not seen any ill effects yet, knock on wood.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! :hump:

I wanna keep my reputation around here as a clean cut kid. :peace:

Hey Dropa,

Been thinking bout' you lately.

So, i read that you redesigned your room a bit.

Thats cool bro! :)

Get that heat outta there, or grab a co2 tank and gas em out.

Well, the bleach seems to work really well around here.

Changed out almost all of my buckets, and added the Clorox.

Gotta grab some more GH bloom.

I really dont know if the brand matters..

But, when i hear the word Bleach, I always Think of "Clorox".

So thats what I use.

The lucas method is working real good, and I see no deficiencies, or nute burn ect..

I would advise you to check it out.

And remember, no additives. 0-8-16.

But, like I posted earlier, the Jacks Professional soil plant is in the lead! .. LMAO!!

Ill run the Hydro one more time, and see if its really for me or not.

If the soil plants with the Jacks/Peters yield better,..Im throwing out the buckets and going back to Dirt..

The next grow's comparison will tell me the direction I need to go.

Another thing nice about soil, I will not need a controller bucket, or chiller.

I think the bleach is the only thing saving my roots from the desert heat my ladies are experiencing.

I wish you the best, and good luck with everything. :)

I have been playing with the lucas but I am not seeing the results that I saw last grow just by going off of the nut calculator that Humboldt Nutrient said to do for DWC. I am not seeing any problems except no real bud growth that I am used to another way.

I will be going back to the old way of nutting my DWC this Monday. I think Lucas is is an all right base formula but it does not put out the bigger buds like I have had in the past.

Live in learn.

P.S. my DWC have always beat my dirt grows indoors by at least 50% IN WIEGHT

Peace

Well, thats because your using Organics for nutes.

Organics does not give you the yields like chemicals.. Proven over and over and over.

Get some chemical nutes like lucas reccomends like GH and it will be a different story.

Dwc is only for chemicals..and thats all there's to it.

Peace, gotta run.
