ya i agree with caz 100% no yellow, yellow bad

need to throw in some gro formula if they are yellowing right caz?

That's a hard one to say from where I sit. It's really a case by case choice. I don't like to chase things to much and if I have a strain that I learn is a heavy feeder and it yellows to soon sometimes that's how it goes and I bump it up next go around. Having said that I will also give the plant what it is asking for. So I guess it depends what and when they need things as to how I would proceed. It becomes intuitive and there is always more to learn. I think it is better to give them to little than to much if you have to error. Plants are happier (grow better) if you pay attention and give them what they need as soon as they start showing signs or better yet just before they need it. (that's why I like growing organic outdoors, it's all there all the time the microbes and plant know what to do), if you over feed, things get locked out and the plant can stress causing all sorts of problems (burning, stunting, hermi, slow growth, bugs...)

just remember they dont start to thicken and fill up untill all upward growth has stopped. usually will only start fattening up in the last 2 - 3 weeks

the strain i have now looks like complete shit 2 weeks before chop but somhow it ripens fast and by the end the harvy is looking good.

Its the "Jack the Ripper" Strain from Subcool

most potent weed any has seen around these parts down south.

I have some pics under the HID lights I will be posting in ten minutes. I wanted to state or ask. I am thinking about bumping my feeding schedule to 4 x day from 3. I am in week 4; does this sound premature or justified at this point... God they are looking good considering I raped and abused them so hard.

Oh yeah I havent had to raise the light in 2-3 days.. I was raising them 2 inches a day for the past 2 weeks...

Thanks

OK negative on those pics... Im not lazy I keep going down and taking pics but then they are malformatted. The camera I have been using is a POS. Sorry... I will get some soon. I am only going into the flowering room once a day. Soon

The roots should be big enough to handle a 4 x day feeding, but you know best. Do it and see how they respond.
Today is the beginning of my week 5 and they are doing good but as Big P said they don't really fatten up until late on.’ I’ll take some pix in the AM if I can get there in time.
This grow is my first try at a SCROG.

OK so I got some of those pics finally today and they turned out and were not corrupt however they are still under the HIDs. Day 30 of flowering... I still see either some nute burn or some problems. Not sure what one it is. I have just accepetd that these ladies are a learning experiance and hopefully the next batch will not have so much stress'.

Looking very nice. I am impressed, I wasn't sure if they were going to come around. Looks like your persistence is paying off. Nice job!

SCROG? I can google it but thought I would just ask...?

Is that an AC unit?

You grow in soil/perlite? C02?

Yeah they are not very tall.. 3 feet is the tallest most are about 2 - 2.5 ft... They seemed to have stopped growing upwards the last couple days... I still have some stresses on them but I just dont wanna worry to much about it. Just proceed with the next batch and keep things more under control.... I am thinking about not using rockwool at all and only using rapid rooters into the hydroton...

At my hydro store they had a ebb and grow with peppers and had cocoa pots, rockwool and just the rooters side by side and the rooter only grow has ALOT more yield in the ebb and grow...

SCROG = Screen Of Green. No AC yet, it's a dehumidifier. Grow is in Coco/pete with worm castings and Inoculated with fungi and bacteria mycorrhizae. CO2 is not on at the moment as I had heat issues, so I'm not using it at the moment. I'm at day 36 and the show is just starting.

That should work fine.

I'm running 1000W over each table and now turned on another 1000W that is used when I have the room filled. It gives better coverage but it is also a bit over-kill. So that said I'm running 3000W in the flower room. If I killed one of the lights I could probably turn back on my CO2 Gen. Nice day to flip 12/12. 12"-14" is a good height to flower inside.

Hell yeah that is dope 4/20 was a bad day I didnt get to smoke anything.. I got the next day though so I celebrated a belated. I am at day 32 and my buds have grown in the last 3 days.. Cant wait... But I will Caz LOL... I am thinking about getting another 1 k light for flowering eventually. I have 7 empty pots and wanna make sure going forward they are always full (24). I can tell that with that much SOG they will need a bit more spread out exposure. This is perfect though for my freshman attempt I believe...

I plan on switching my res out again on Thurs/Friday.. This res was 625ppm and they seem to love it.. Its down to 473 already so seems a bit weak still.. On Thurs/Fri of this week I am gonna switch to the aggressive bloom formula, followed by a week to week and half of the ripening, then a good week of flushing and that should be 8 weeks or 56 days or so..

Big P uses gravity; if I was to use that at what stage is that applied.. After ripening and pre flush?

I am gonna buy my bubble buckets this week and my next seed batch... I use http://www.marijuana-seeds.nl/feminized-marijuana-seeds.html and got what I ordered twice.. I used to order through buy Dutch seeds but they dont accept my credit card anymore.

I also plan on going to walmart and getting some jars for curing soon as well.. Oh and I am about to run out of H202 35% so I need to re-order that too...

Great to hear the news!

Yea, I have 25 days on my count down clock. I might go a few weeks longer if I can this time. It depends on how they look and the weather (and my next power bill). Looking forward to the summer again 19 days till the girls are put outside and then finish this indoor cycle. Time to take a break from the indoor work and let nature do most of the rest for awhile.

Yeah I plan on doing some guerilla outdoor grow in mid may... hopefully 30+ plants thats all in the planning right now but I am gonna keep my indoor grows paralell. I have invested about 9k in my setup and need to catch back up and get outa some of this debt...

30+ plants. Now that's ambitious, plus a lot of work. May is just around the corner. Have you located and started to prep your outdoor areas? If you put the/some plants out later in the summer they won’t get as big, less time to water them and to be found. Get a good start indoors and put some out near the end of July. If you don’t like the sound of this try it with one plant this year. Just remember to harden them off before leaving them on their own.

LOL come on by now you should know I go big or go home LOL.... Its all in the planning... I was just gonna find a nice spot up in the northwoods and just drop some femized outdoor seeds Mid May-Sep... I know its not ideal but should get me a little something extra... Its cheap beyond the seeds.... I was just going to plant them and check back on them month to month....

Sounds good. I guess you get summer rains where you are. It wouldn't work here for me. I gota water all summer. Try to protect them while their small or they probably won't make it past the many things that like to eat small plants. To many to list. I'd like to know how it works out for you.
