Im currently gowing in a 18inx18inx8in PC box. Im growing BLUE :leaf: MYSTIC "MISTY" from nirvana. I have 3 fan 2-out, 1-in. 3-23 watt CFLs (100 watt equivalent ) 1-2700k softwhite 2-6500k daylight for vegging. 1-6500k daylight 2-2700k softwhite for flowering. my temp is no higher than 85f day cycle and night cycle 75f. Im flowering over the night because I live in the south US and its hot. I vegged for 20 day with a 24 hour dark and now flowering at day 9. Useing Fox Farm nutes and jungle garden soil. LST/SOG.

Hey Phase, great idea for a thread.

I'm also growing in a pc case. I think it's 21x18x8, giving 0.99sq ft of growspace. I'm using a 100w CMH bulb which outputs 9,500 lumens of mixed spectrum light with a peak at 3000k. The grow is perpetual and uses the 12/12 from seed method with about 3 weeks between plantings.
There's 2x92mm and an 80mm fan all acting as exhausts with another 80mm and 2x70mm fans as intakes, all fans are adjustable between 6/9/12v to allow me to grow year round. To help with cooling I have a 2mm polycarbonate sheet between the canopy and the light. Potato chip/ crisp packets are used to make the walls reflective and odour control is a strip of activated carbon foam over the exhausts.
The plants are in coco and I'm using GH Flora Nova nutes, temps are 65 and 78 ATM.
I've had some great results with NL recently but right now I have 4 Violator Kush on the go. I just posted this in my journal but it's how they looked 2 days ago.

The fans are tri-cool fans. 2 outtake are 120 on the back and 140 on the top. The 1 intake is 120. Thanks for the kind word.

I have grown before, but not in PC on closets. This will be my first harvest out of the PC> The yeild most people get in a PC is about 12+ grams. Im think I should get more then that hopefully! Im only doing 1 plant with LST/SOG.

Yeah shes looking good, but im have some problems cause i cant tell if she over or under water. Shes looking a little droopy. idk ,Tell some people about this thread and let blow it up, so we can help all these friends out. lol

May also be a heat/humidity problem Phase. Check the readings just above the centre of the canopy.

HELP!! Am on my first SUCCESSFUL PC grow. Both girls are coming along fine but for one problem. Didn't anticipate how tall my LR2 feminized would get inside the commercially built stealth box. One is now touching the CFL's provided with box. They are now in their 5th week. Is it too late to do LST? Any suggestions? Am grandma and have learned to love these girls like my own grandchildren, almost, so don't want to lose them or see them hurt.

You can try to water it and then bending it. If i doesnt want ot bend just with a good water then rub the stem between your fingers and it will soften the stem so you can bend it. Just be care not to break the stem. I would like to see a picture of your girls, if you would!

You can try to still LST, do what ever it takes to get them off the light!

I am not a PC grower my self but would like to see this thread turn out and see some PC grows! Subscribedbongsmilie!

That's a real nice plant Phase. Looks like you made a great choice of genetics.

Hey Dog Lover. You still have 35 days to go so LST should help a lot. Just bend it gently and stop when you feel any resistance. You can bend it and tie it down some more each day until you create the space you need.

Im looking to start my pc grow very soon (cant wait) but I was wondering, doesnt the width of the case effect the growth some how? Doesn't it squash the plant or something?

The width matters a little. Because if the case is to slim, your plants leaves that are facing down will die from no light . It doesnt really affect buds, because there always shooting upwards. the PC im growing in is 8 inches wide.The plant im useing BLUE MYSTIC thats mostly indica is a wide bush and a little cramped but IMO the width only matters if your breaking braches. Your going to LST in order to get a good grow.

yo whatz good phase420 i just made my own hood pc growcase i just used my
olds ass pc and took it apart and did it!! its the same size as urz 18l18w18h
bubbleponics (first time in water) 1 23 watt blue spectrum cfl(for now) 1intake
fan 1 exhaust fan i homemade co2 generater(ice tea bottle)my nutes are
technafloras recipe for success kit(first time useing these nutes)and my strain
is kushberry,which is 3 weeks old! dam phase your mystic iz mad bushy keep that
shyt growing ya dig!!! i also started my lsting ill post those pikz 2morrow!!! oh
yeah and the foil is just for the light wont get to my res and create
algie!!!!!! the other budded plant in the red cup is that im trying to revegg!! we were talking about in my thread remember!!!!(sour cream)
