Very happy with that.. I was thinkin an ounce an 1/2 right b4 I harvested.... and I got more than double that!

This weight includes everything. all the lil popcorn buds, which i finally finished trimming a couple days ago... and it included the 2.9 grams I had already tested/smoked. =)

p.s. I think I guessed 2 ounces but once I saw the buds on the tables after you trimmed them, I had a feeling that baby was even more than 2 and Im glad it was!!! woohoo happy smokin man!

yeaa, I was the same way.. I was guessin about 1.5 ounces.. but once I saw it all layed out.. i was like Hmmmmm... lol.

and trust me.. we will be enjoying this for alongggg time! lol. i told her we gotta make it last at least another 8-10 weeks, since im about to flower the next white widow plant.

gonna make a seperate journal for this tho.. but you guys should keep up with this one as well.. i still have a slide show im going to make.. showing the plant from seed to harves. =)

I am also going to make some hash today or tomorrow.. adn am going to put pics of my "attempt" at that. lol.

I will also be posting a few pics of the buds.. the way the way they look now.. now that they're all dried out and stuff.

**Just wanted to say.. the small white widow plant... ALREADY HAS WHITE HAIRS SHOWING!! She's only been vegging for like 3 1/2-4 weeks! I checked her yesterday.. because I decided to FIM her.. and I was checking to make sure shes doing OK (since this is my first time ever trying it) (and the FIM job looks good by the way.. I wil make the journal and pst the pics soon) and I noticed white hairs on a few different spots...!? This plant is taking right off too! Soooooo looks like Im gonna have another WW plant thats gonna just take off! Sooo be sure to stay tuned for the new journal!!

I also have a clone of the mystery Plant that Im going to flower this time too. Shes about a foot tall (the mother plant was female.. soo i know its female) Soo look out for that too. =)

I am going to try to start the journal today.. an dwill post the link in here.. adn put it in my signature as well.

I'll definitley stick around for the next journal, this has been a lot of fun getting to tag along during your grow, especially a white widow!! One that I've always been interested in. Cant wait for the bud shots, will be really interesting to check out with the quality of pictures you have. A slideshow sounds coo, that would keep me from having to keep going back through the journal to check out the meusem of pictures lol I guess I should save them so I can stare at them whenever lol

Good luck with the hash! I've read a few articles on making hash but it still seems kinda confusing to me...and expensive if you use the bucket with the bags...? Add the hash making process you use to the journal if you can! I've always wondered what hash was like to smoke...?? we've never had any around here

Oh, and man I was so amped from all the reading and learning I've done on here and then found your journal and you spoke so well about Nirvana, that I finally ordered some Fem White Widow! Just in case I ever do get to garden...But now im starting to worry that thier not coming in because I ordered them about 2 weeks ago and no sign yet. Somethin else that worries me is that I never recieved a email saying they were shipped, even though the status on the site says shipped. I opened a ticket with the helpdesk explaining my worries Friday night, but no reply.

yeaa, I have been taking side pics from like every few days.. up until the end. adn i was doing it purposely so that I could make a slide show. you can stare as long as u would like. lol

Thanks man. Yeaa, I think i have an idea of how to do it.. absically gonna get ice adn water... mix in my clipping.. mix it up... then pur the mixture through a nylon thats covering a bowl/container. then the stuff that gets stuck on the screen.. gonna add ice and water to that again.. to try and make sure i get it all.. then the liquid that went through the screen will ahve to settle for an hour or so.. then.. get a ladel.. scoop out as much water as i cant.. adn then pour the rest through a coffee filter..a dn wallah! theres the hash... i think?? lol. I hope.

while I do it i will take pics.. adn do a more in depth description for ya.

are you serious....? wtf? well i was gonna say to open a support ticker.. it usually take 3-5 days for her to get back to you.. but shes awesome.. adn she will help you out man.. thats really wierd tho..? all 3 of my orders came within 5-8 days..

yeaaa, I know they're not completely dry yet.. well, when i was drying them.. i had a fan blowing IN.. adn that dried them really really fast. =( like in 2-3 days. but as soon as I put them in the jars.. moisture came back..a dn they were moist again. =)

But I have kept them in the jars.. and i check them like 6 or 7 times a day.. adn if i open the jar.. and its too moist.. I leave the top open for a lil while.. let'em dry out a bit.. then close it back up.

Ive smoked a couple joints... and they were fine.. they didnt go out or anything. =) sooo its dry enough for me. lol

I got 3 oz dry. it was 3.15 to be exact. couldnt really get an accurate wet weight because it took me forever to harvest and trim all the buds... it took me 2 days.

and i am still in the process of curing right now.. i just plan on keeping them in the jars till its all gone. =) and just make sure it doesnt get too moist.

thanks man. and honestly... this plant had like NO odor at all.. throughout the WHOLE grow.. there was a sort-of "plant" type smell durin veg.. and during flowering.. there was a very faint "skunk" smell.. but nothin overwhelming at all.. I would even stick my nose right up to the buds.. and smell.. adn would barely be able to smell anything?? kinda wierd..

and noo i didnt have a carbon filter in my room. I didnt grow in a box. i grew in my closet.. I did have an Ionizer in my room tho. its an "Air Purifier/Ionizer".. idk how much it was or anything.. its old..a dn thought it was broken.. but i guess not. lol. I found in layin around the attic.. and decided to stick it in there.. adn it works.. really good i guess? it doesnt look expensive at all tho.

If u look a few pages back (not sure of the exact page) there is an article i found on Ionizer's... its pretty interesting.. u might wanna look for it and read it.

it was sayin how running an Ionizer can actually completely eliminate the smell.. even from the plant and buds themselves...

I was worried..once i was on my last week.. adn there STILL was barely a smell.. but now that I have them curing.. they have a smell.. soo dont worry about the buds not smelling once u harvest.

these buds smell wierd tho.. like no other weed i've ever smelled.. smells like... fruity kinda.. a wierd type of fruity pebbles smell i guess? kinda hard to explain.. for sum reason.. the word "pungent" comes to mind wen i think of the smell.

Thanks for the answer, i asked because i have some withe widow and white rhino seeds, i would like to grow them but im afraid of the smell that will be felted in my house or by the neighbours. I will look and search after info about the ionizer. Thanks again and good luck with the hash.

interesting on the odor, didn't really know much about the white widow
but for the white rhino, beware, it does have a high odor rep
but often it's luck of the draw, some phenos will smell, some won't

yup yup. no problem. if i know the answer.. i dont mind helpin. idk about the white rihino.. growone sais it has a rep. of a high odor plant.. soo be careful with that one.. adn as far as the white widow.. i wouldnt worry about neighbors.. i think you''ll be fine as far as that goes.. but my house did have a very faint smell if a "skunk".. but nothin overpowering.. alotta ppl didnt notice/say anything..

But if i were you.. DEFF look into getting an ionizer... i would guess the more expensive.. the better it will hide the smel.. obviously. lol. its supposed to produce negative Ions..which atatch to the smell.. adn suck it back into the air purifier.. and convert it into something. lol. sum shit like that.

i always wanted to try that thing u see on tv sometimes... on the info-mercials.. where they fill up a glass case with like.. this thick thick smoke.. and they turn on the air purifier thing.. and within seconds.. the whole box is cleared... and has no smell... you guys know wat im talking about?? i bet that thing would work BAD-ASS for the weed smell.

yeaaa, i think u worded it PERFECTLY.. "luck of the draw".. cuz b4 i grew my WW.. i was readin sum1 elses journal.. who also had FEM WW seeds from nirvana.. adn at about 5 weeks.. he said the smell was powerful.. adn said he doesnt know how ppl can grow 4-5 plants and not have neighbors callin the cops and stuff...

i think i just got lucky.. with the smell.. the poly-ploid buds.. adn the yield... lol.hope my luck STAYS like this!!

thanks man. =) and yeaaa, when I harvested I did have a decent amount of white hairs left when I harvested.. but once they started to dry out.. you cant really notice thhem.

but then again.. my plaint was like.. on steroids.. and grew very very fast.. soo i think it finished earlier than a nrmal plant did.

When I used my scope.. i ahd amber trichs tho.. do u have any?? u should try usin molasses if u can for the last week or so. it will fatten up ur buds.

ur buds are looking nice tho. but i think they might need to go a lil bit longer.

i cut some of the branches off and have them hanging drying right now, and ive been using molases for the past 3 weeks almost. ill prolly just harvest in a couple days cuz it has sum amber trichs but alot of white

aiight. cool man. yeaa thats the best way to find out if theyre ready.. just cut off a branch and smoke it. lol. that always works.

I was wonderin.. where did u order ur White Widow from..? was it from Nirvana? thats where I got mine. and yea the molasses (in my opinion) helped out with my buds.. i think. lol. i only got to use it for the last week 1/2.. but its better than nothing. and it helped break down all the nute buildup I had goin.. adn im sure it added a lil weight to the buds.. cuz i mean... 3.15 ounces.. off 1 plant that only vegged for 3 weeks.. adn flowered for 8.. i think maybe the molasses helped out a little.

yea my plant had ALOT of amber trichs all along the leaves.. and then certain buds had a good amount of amber.. and others were almost all white like u said...

But i only wanted mine to be like 30% amber.. cuz I wanted more of an "uppy" high adn talkative high.. not the couchlock high where u kinda smoke it... and it melts you into a ball of goo (as SL2 told me his 10.5 weeks flowered White Widow does.. hahaha)

But I harvested mine at 8 weeks.. and i smoke it.. adn have the "uppy" feelin for about 45 min. its a combo of a talkative and giggly type high... but about an hour or so after you smoke it... you get very very very very relaxed............ lol. soo be prepared!

lemme know how it goes tho man.. adn once the buds are done hangin.. ui should post a couple pics on here if u want/can. I'd like to see them. =)

Aiiiiiiight. Well, no need for any writing really... these are just a bunch of pictures of the buds and how they look now. They're still curing.. And they shrank.... A LOT! sadly.. that giant Siamese Bud that was almost as big as my arm.. can easily fit into the palm of my hand now.. whe it was still on the plant.. i could just barely put my thumb adn middle finger around it.. my fingertips would just barely touch... now.. lol. well lets just say I have no preoblem doing that now...

Ughh. see I started this off saying no need for tlaking... but some how I ALWAYS manage to write a fucking long ass story no matter whta im writing about.. or replying to. lol.

you really did a nice job on the trimming, very impressed
the shrinkage is tough, that sounds like quite a bit, but most buds shrink a lot, sounds like they dried faster than i had guessed
and they are centerfold quality
