Thanks after I threw in the two warms (came with 4 cool bulbs) it ran about 120 bucks... Not bad I dont think, I got the "in store" discount so.

Should be nice to not fry my next babies...

Put 21 or so in and all but 3 have popped up now. I am using the recipe for success Technoflora kit that came with my ebb and gorw for these.

I am flipping them to 12/12 today. Last night I shut them down 3 hours early so 9, tonight 6-6...

They are starting to smell and they are only in veg. I cant wait til tomorrow I will be able to turn up my scrubber and run it on like 50% with the adjuster I got.. I think...

Anyways I am still optimistic I will get some good buds out of here?

I plan on using carbonated water to foliar feed cause no C02 yet... ANY ADVICE ON FOLIAR FEEDING with C02 water. When to start, how often... Ect?

PS I am gonna goto the hardware store after raking the lawn... I will be mounting the scrubber in the room today... Ill post later..

OK so I have been flowering sinse Wed 12/12. I have attached some pics... It looks like I have nitrogen burn, leaf edges are burning and canoeing slightly. The new growth the tips have a claw feature but only on some plants. Overall they are growing. I believe they are starting to show signs of sex but I cant tell yet. I am hoping ill be able to tell more definite in the next coming days... My PPMs are 375ish and my PH averages 5.8. Right now I am using the transition flormula for the GH nutes 2-2-2 diluted to about 1-1-1 and plan on changing the res out again on Fri-Sun with the 1-2-3 diluted ratio.

Also seems like on like half my plants even the newest leaves coming in have pale tips they have been this way for 3-4 days..?

Sexing.. all my plants have shown their wex after 6 days of flowering. I see pistils on 18 of the 20 plants. The 2 that have seed pods are destroyed.

18 !! Thats awesome I hope they yield something...

I looked and it is hard to tell with the pix you provided. You should be fine for a few days. Just keep an eye on them and if it looks like they are balls ready to flower then yank it. Good luck

I ended up removing that plant because it was a hermie... No worries I smoked it up LOL.. It got me a slight head buzz LOL

So I have an update.

I am at day 23 flowering...

There still seems to be some burning but overall its minimized. Have a look and see for yourselves.

I moved one plant to the center of the room and it looks like there is some slight bleeching that happened... However it seems like it stopped there is a pic of it. Any worries?

Any feedback would be appreciated.. Do they look over watered or anything?

looks good just the color seems a lil light,


what color are the leaves under normal human light?


i heard they need nitrogen when they yellow up like that

but dont take my word for it im not good at diagnosing color problems never had to before but maybe its just the light


i feel they should be about this color

I like that bud on there... lol

I will try and flash a pic or two when the light goes off....

Nice pictures bro. I too would like to see a few shots under more natural lighting. I see a few areas of the plant that concerns me that I would focus on while re-reading the plants problem info pages again. areas of concern are (in no real order), the upward facing serrated edges (could be over watering? or..), The burn at the tips and the burns on the middle-serrated parts. (different causes), overall color (this might be fine at this point), the downward pointing tips.

While I mention the obvious, they look like they stretched out nicely for the problems you had early on. Your yield will suffer some but looks like you come off with a nice stash after all. Sweet. Can't tell from the photos but they should be frosting up now too. How do they smell when you squeeze a bud.

I'll look around to see if I can find answers to what i mentioned above.

Hey Caz thanks for checking in with me. Hope your having a great spring...

They are most def turning SUPER frosty... Some of the Super Skunk 1s are almost completely covered in all nodes.. The Bubblegum has some trics but the afghan I got is like a winter wonderland lol... I SOO cant wait. I havent smoked in 10 days now because I am fighting with my dealer.. O well...

Smell is creeping up. I have the garden in the basement. 400 cfm intake fan 200 cfm outtake fan scrubbed (9000 filter) into my garage. Some days the room above the garden has a slight chronic smell... Kinda sweet if you will (Bubblegum?)...
In my grow room which is like 20x20 I have a 8x6 grow tent that I build with 2x4s and that platsic shit from the hydro store..
The outer room when I walk into it has a slightly mild smell however I cant smell anything in the garage.. I plan on putting an ozone jr in the outer room to help with the smell ( I live in a duplex).

Once I am in the room I cant really smell much even up close.. I aint squeezed any flowers cause I am afraid I will knock off trics.

I will try to get some pics under good lighting. This weekend I was super busy.

B L - sounds great, except your dry spell :( Dose your dealer know in five weeks you won't need him/her anymore? ;)
I use to feel the same way in the beginning about touching the buds. But you can't help bumping into them from time to time as you rearrange things a bit. I come out of the room with sticky wrists and elbows and it smells like sweet nectar. I can smell the different strains and can't resist taking whiffs of the different parts of my arms that touched the different strains (for close to an hour after). Perfume.

The real test for smell in the house is to leave for the day and then come back and pay close attention as you come in and walk around. It's gonna get potent as they ripen and plump up.

Caz nobody walking the earth knows what I am doing... Well besides the community on here... and hopefull none of yall know me LOL.. ;-) So no he dont and wont.

The last 2 days my arms have been sticky as hell after moving around and stuff its amazing. I am gonna be sooo happy.. I needed to detox anyways I smoked a 1/2 the last week I smoked LOL opps.

FYI my fans are only at 1/2 stregth right now I bought a router adjuster to control their RPMs... so I can bump them up if need. I plan on it when I do smell something...

I have been leaving for the days recently going to the lake fishing all day and when I come home nothing except in that outer room.. I ask my gf if she ever smells musky mold in the upstairs LOL she dont...

Wed will be day 28 or week 4 1/2 way home I cant wait... I killed my second batch and am waiting for new fem seeds coming... As soon as they come I will proceed with the next batch I cant wait to see my knowledge get applied to the next grow I hope it goes better through Veg....

Remember I am in week 4 so shouldnt I see some yellowing?

Yellowing? Hopefully not yet. This is a good sign that your plants have enough N to be healthy and plump up to there fullest (hopefully). You might see some of the lower fan leaves start to drop (the ones that receive the lest light). IMHO you shouldn't see yellowing (if all is well) until the buds stop most of there upward growth and do there final plump up. This is where I believe the plant reaches for all the resources to finish off, grabbing all the nutes it can from the remaining leaves. I see a lot of growers here that starve their plants of N with the use of these newer feeding schedules. Plants yellow to early and don't reach full weight or maturity. They harvest earlier and more times a year and the quality suffers. IF your going to do it, do it right :) You'll see yellowing at week 6 probably but that’s a guess. we'll see. keep me posted.

ya i agree with caz 100% no yellow, yellow bad


need to throw in some gro formula if they are yellowing right caz?
