ok, i wana put my babies straight into soil for germ instead of using paper towel or cups method.

I know tht i have to keep the soil moist, but how should i do that. Should i pre-water my soil? or should i water it after planting my baby in?

soak for 12 hr plant just under the soil use a spray bottle to water. hit it good. then leave it untill the seed pops. if you have to just a spray to keep the soil moist on top.

Not mandatory at all. the soaking just helps the seed pop. my seeds pop in 1-4 days when soaked. go shorter if you want just don't do much more then 12 hr.

Just pop it 1/4 to 1/2 inch into your soil and water thoroughly with distilled water and put it in a sunny location on a window sill or under your veg lights. A few days later you will have your sprout!

I use the tip of a pen or peice of tie wire and make a hole just big enough for the seed. drop it in and cover with a few grains of soil. Just enough to cover it.

I dunno man the paper towel method is what works best for me. I get about 90% success. I don't wait until the taproot gets really long, just until the seed cracks and pokes its head through. I usually try to check on them every 12 hours or so just to make sure the paper towels are still at the proper moisture level and to see if any popped.

As for the straight to soil method my success was about 50%..

I decided to grow in soil this summer, so I went back to planting straight to soil. I start them in what are known as 1 gallon nursery pots(not really a gallon). When I mix my potting soil, I make sure it is damp, not wet. Then I pretty much do what the other guys said to do. This is my baby bubba kush, about 10 days or so from popping up through the dirt.

I love this method since it is the most natural way to go!

One thing I always do though,, is to cover the top of the pot using plastic cling wrap to keep the moisture in. This prevents you from overwatering (to keep the soil moist) and keeps the moisture inside!

Wow that seems like a lot of growth for just 10 days. What kind of llight are you growing it under?

I start them under a shitload of 6500k cfl's and then they go under a 430 watt Son-Agro setup. I am going to get a MH light as soon as I can, but this works for now.
