Water cure! Very useful and stealthy!

Well im on day 3 or 4 of my second water cure.

I love it. I wouldn't use it though if I didn't have to. I like my cronic smell, aroma and taste but can't cure in that method due to the smell! I don't live alone and it's a bitch to grow, but i pull it off. Whats weird is, the plants only smell half as good when they are on the plant. the odor doesn't drift outa my room. but as soon as they're copped, they are pungent and the smell goes everywhere.

This is where the water cure comes in handy.
I grab a few jars, fill em up, dip in the buds, weigh them down with forks, drain every 12 hours for the first 4 days, then every 24 for the next 3 and then i dry. for about 34 hours and they're good to jar up.

they do loose a bit more weight then normal or air, but less is needed to do the job. i mean shit. I toke a blunt of aircured off the same plant, and i could smoke another. But water cured I find i'm blitzed enough lol

Not to mention, one of my plants stunted and i was only going to get a gram or so,[vs a quarter normally] so i cut 3-4 weeks early. Did the water cure, and it dried to a blunt. but that blunt was impressive to say the least. Another thing is, its great for smoking bud ANYWHERE! Lol i mean, i was on the road and a cop car pulls next to me, in the next lane waiting for the light, he had his window down and so did i, except i was smoking a joint.[rolled with a joint roller, so it looked perfect like a cigarette.] I had my hand out the window with the joint and the cop looked at me, non Shalnant[sp] wasn't even tripping. HE COULDN'T SMELL IT!
lol idk im done ranting now.
anyone else water cure?

i am afraid to try water curing with an entire harvest, but maybe i'll try just a few buds.

Hard to imagine a bunch of trichs not going down the toilet along with the flush water. Change that to ice water and be sure to shake it up good makes it close to a blender hash recipe. Can some smarty pants tell us why it don't work that way? I heard about this dope head who got pulled over by the fuzz for something unrelated and got out of the car to greet them with a rolled up joint snugly resting behind his ear. He was not so fortunant as you. The cops seen it and he went to the cross bar hotel.

cold water makes trichomes brittle, and they can snap off... hence why icy water is used for hash, but as long as you do not disturb the bud too much while it is water curing you should not break off any trichomes. trichomes are also not soluble in water so you will not have to worry about any of them dissolving etc, and if you use room temperature water the trichomes will be no more brittle than normal.

The po-po can be a nasty.
Anyway i didn't say it was solely due to the smell of the burn, im saying it could have been. He could have figured what i was doin and didn't give a shit. there's plenty of oinks that don't.
I don't understand your other rant tho.
something about smarty pants? ARE YOU HIGH?!

To each their own...but I don't care for it at all. I go for smell/taste over a lot of other qualities so i may be biased.

It is definitely another way to dry it but not my cup of tea. Nothing beats a slow air dry and glass jar curing.

i water cured 7 grams of a dna genetics hashplant haze harvest. it was very smooth, but i definitely liked the regular way of drying/curing better. i water cured in mason jars, with holes poked in the lid; as well as changed the water every 24 hours. I did this for a week and then hung until dry.
